Hi people. Now that school is almost ending, I'm finding lessons quite enjoyable. The teachers are now more like friends than they ever were before, so lesson time is fun. I took a few pictures of the class today because Mr Kwok asked each class for 20 photos for the Leavers' Ceremony [what a stupid name-makes me think of a ceremony for people who leave games in mid-match].

After school, Say Yin, Yan Ming and me took bus number 100 to Beach Road. We were going to Golden Mile food centre to eat the beef noodles. The bus went through Geylang, and I saw two real whores. I'm freaked, because I've never actually seen a prostitute before.

After about 15 mins, we reached our destination, but guess what? The shop was closed. So we ate other food. Before I left the place I bought two Goreng Pisang from a stall and it is damn nice. Say Yin was taking bus 100 back to his house, but Yan Ming and me were taking bus 16, so we had to walk to some isolated bus stop.

The bus came and it passed through the F1 track. After that Yan Ming dropped near Plaza Singapura, and I continued taking the bus until near Tiong Bahru Market, then I walked home. Once home I only studied, and I didn't do much else. Ending off this post, see you tomorrow.

Hello. I'm a tired person today. I just reached home now, and it's about 8.15pm, although we ended school at around 1pm. We are only doing revision now in school, mostly other school and past year papers. Many of our teachers becoming emo now. I think they're more worried about the O levels than we are.

After school, we went to Sebastian's house to study. We went to a coffee shop near Serangoon Central to eat lunch first. After that we walked to Sebastian's house. I did only my Maths Set C papers. The others were doing their A.Maths stuff. We were there from 2.45pm-5.15pm.

After that I went to Say Yin's house to wait for my father. We blasted some music on his phone speakers, and we used the computer for a bit. We tried to play some songs on the guitar too. At about 7.45pm, my father came and fetched me home.

Now I'm just gonna lie on my bed and read an Animorph book. Keeping all my posts short from now on, because the O's are coming. See you tomorrow.

Hi. I AM SO SLEEPY!!! Damn it, I am lacking sleep. I slept at 1.30 am this morning, because I was talking to Friend, then I woke up again at 3.30am. 2 hours of sleep man. I did a bit of the Chemistry 5 year series book. At first I was too tired to think, but after blasting some Slipknot, I was more or less awake.

At 5.45am, I went to take a shower, then I followed my father to the temple. There was supposed to be some Hindu festival today, but guess what? We got the wrong date, and the thing was tomorrow morning.

So we went to another temple in Chinatown. I think I'm going to this temple every Sunday morning until O levels are over. This is an especially tedious thing for me to do since I don't exactly believe in religion.

After that we bought Roti Prata and I went back home to eat. Prata rocks man. Nobel Prize to whoever created it. After that I went to buy groceries at Bukit Merah NTUC for my parents. After buying the stuff I was walking up the stairs of an over head bridge when I fell down T.T Now my palm's injured. But the injury is so small it's insignificant.

After that I got back home and I hardcore studied. I was doing the Set C Maths questions this entire day. I took a break at lunch time. We had pizza today. Cool. After lunch, I played my guitar for a bit because now it's fully stringed.

I played "Sleeping with the Light On" by Busted and "Dead!" by My Chemical Revenge for the rhythm guitar part. I played both by memory, so I had a few screw ups here and there. I'm also playing without an amplifier because mine is dead and I am too cheap to get a new one with my own cash.

Sleeping with the Light On was alright, but it's a strumming song, which I am not at all good at doing. Dead! was better in my opinion, and although I was playing the rhythm guitar part, I played the start of the solo perfectly. Yeah, I own. Here are the videos of both songs. Audio's a bit soft, so turn up the volume and listen carefully!! I freakin aced the solo part of Dead! which I tried to play. Try not to laugh:
Sleeping with the Light On

Dead!

Then I read Animorphs book 38. Damn, some Andalites are freakin jerks. I continued doing Maths for another hour, until 4pm. Then I stopped doing any work and decided to use my computer. I still have tuition later on, at 6.30pm, so I'm taking a break from study until then. If anything interesting happens during or after tuition, I'll blog it, if not end of post, see you tomorrow.

Hello. Today was an ultimate day of slack for me. I was watching Mythbusters on my computer up to 2am early this morning, so I woke up at 10am. First thing I did was pick up my copy of the November issue of EGM and I started reading.

After that, I turned on my computer and went to Onemanga.com. The new Naruto and Bleach chapters were finally up, so I read them. Then I surfed the net for a bit. At 11am my mother asked me to go to Tiong Bahru market to buy lunch. I went to buy three packets of Nasi Lemak for me and my siblings, then I went back home to eat.

At 12.20pm, my father came home from work, but he left again 5 mins later because he had to send my brother to Chinese tuition.

I decided to play Xbox. I played Burnout Paradise because I wanted to test out the new Burnout Bikes update. Bikes aren't as good as cars in my opinion. Sure, they're freakin fast, but when using bikes, there are less cars on the roads and there are fewer events. So I think motorcycles are cool at first, but they'll get old fast. But it's a free download, so I won't complain. Here's a video of motorcycle gameplay:
After that I played Mercenaries 2 for about 5 minutes because I wanted to see if they were serious about a certain Achievement. If the description of the Achievement was correct, all I had to do was to hold the accelerate and brake buttons when I'm in a vehicle. Seriously? That's a freakin easy 10 points. It turned out to be true. Wow. Easy points.

Played Guitar Hero 3 with my sister after that. She usually never plays games, so when she told me that she wanted to try it out, I was surprised. I played Face off mode with her. I was playing Hard and she was playing Easy. I won her 3 times and she won me once. I think it's really true what they say about casual games. Girls like playing them.

I then played Alone in the Dark. It's nothing special. And the controls are pretty bad. It is one of those games that need you to use the thumbstick to control attacks. And even worse, the controls change with every weapon.

For example, to use a sledgehammer, you need too rotate the thumbstick to gain momentum, then push the thumbstick in the direction you want to attack. But when you're using a gun, it's the Right Trigger that attacks. It confuses me. Anyways, I have a opening and first ten minutes video of the game:

When I completed the first chapter of Alone in the Dark, I unlocked 30 Achievement points, putting my total Gamerscore at 7020 points. It is starting to seem possible that I might be able to reach 10 000 points by the end of this year, since I'll probably be buying another 15 more games or so. I also found out two things today. 1)I rock and 2)I suck.

I rock because I have unlocked 378 Achievements so far. Wow, that's a lot. Three digits worth of Achievements. That's cool.
Whoo I should get an Achievement for getting that many Achievements

I suck because 7020 points may seem high, but if I actually bothered to chase every single Achievement I could get, I would have 35 575 points by now. Damn it.
7020 seems pathetic if you look at it that way.

After that I went to tuition. Today's tuition was quite funny because Mr Chin kept on joking. But I still felt sleepy because 1)I slept late last night, 2)I was sitting near the air conditioner, so it was quite comfortable, 3)I'm doing maths and 4)I was playing Xbox for a few hours before that, and gaming really drains the energy from you if you don't already know. This has been scientifically proven and if gaming doesn't tire you, YOU ARE A ****ING FREAK.

After tuition I took a bus back home. I like sitting in the top deck of a mostly empty bus. Then I can really blast music in my headphones and I can headbang a little. If there were a lot of people they would think I was having a seizure if I trashed my head up and down too much.

I went back home and resumed slacking. I read Animorphs book 37. I love Animorphs. My collection is short of only 14 books. Pity they don't print them anymore. Nowadays, the only was I can get my hands on a new Animorph book is when there is a clearance sale, when there is a book fair or from the Internet.

After that I played guitar a bit. I haven't played guitar for really long, but I can still remember 5 full songs by heart, so I guess it's alright. Damn it, I can't wait to get my new amp. Then I can really play.

I'm considering buying two more electric guitars, so that I'll have three in all. I'll keep one for standard tuning and I can just tune the low E string down to play Drop D, then I'll have another in permanent Drop C for Bullet for my Valentine, Atreyu and other metal songs, then the final one will be Drop B for Nu metal playing. Then I will be king.

I also want to learn how to scream properly. I'm not interested in clean vocals but screaming is really fun and cool. I can do the scream, and my brother can do the singing, because he has the best singing voice I know, and I dunno anyone who can scream.

After that I ate chicken rice for dinner, then I decided to use my computer and I started typing this post. See, this is really a day of slack. I hardly even studied. But I'm waking up tomorrow morning at 3.30am to study, so I guess that balances it. Ok, I'm gonna sleep now, if not I won't be able to wake up on time. Ending this post now, see you tomorrow.

Hi people. Today was a pretty nice day. We started off the morning with two English periods. We went to the IMac lab to look for the meaning of some profound words on the internet, but we ended up doing crap.

People were all playing with the Stickies program, and it was really funny. I was playing with the language converter program, and it converts the words directly from english to whatever language you select. So when I typed "Eat the sun", it turned out as "吃星期日". Lol, really funny.

After English we had Physics. Physics is quite fun. We always sabo Mr Ganesh. For example, when Ms Lee is going through out papers, and she asks us "who teached you to do that way", we just say Mr Ganesh. Haha. We had History. Today Ms Tan was quieter, so it was alright. After that we had Maths.

After school, Say Yin, Osel and me went to City Hall. I wanted to buy my hoodie, and Say Yin wanted to buy a guitar pick, and we wanted to check out the F1 track anyways. When we were in the bus headed to Aljunied station, we saw a fire engine behind a car.

The front of the car was blackened and some parts were melted. I dunno what the hell happened, but the driver was alright because he was talking to the policemen about the accident. Wtf, such a thing can actually happen. Car burst into flames :0

Soon we reached City Hall and I went to get my hoodie. I got a Slipknot one, and I also helped my brother get a Slipknot shirt. The hoodie was $50, but I used my charm on the shopkeeper until she gave me the hoodie at $40. $10 discount. Only I can do stuff like that. After that Say Yin went to buy his pick, and I bought a new pack of strings for my guitar.

Then we went to Funan because Say Yin wanted to buy a 2GB merory card for his phone. he managed to get on at a pretty resonable price of $35. This is the card with the adaptor. I realised some crazy things. The Xbox 360 version of Rock Band [the original, not Rock Band 2] is finally out. It was released nearly a year ago in the USA, and it was released earlier this year for $400 for both the PS3 and Wii.

Now the 360 version is finally out for $299, but I not buying the bundle. I'm buying Guitar Hero 4, then I'll just buy the Rock Band game disc. I also realised that the Fable 2 limited edition can now be preordered. Damn, so many games I want, so little money I have.

After that we went to Marina Square to eat our lunch, the I managed to get some shots of the F1 race pit stop area. After that I went home. I've been using my computer ever since. Bungie released a teaser of their latest project this morning, and it is believed to be a campaign expansion for Halo 3, due 6th January 2009. This will probably make me get back into playing Halo. Here's the trailer:

Ok wow, I just went onto Xbox Live to download the Burnout Bikes update, and I was just scrolling through the vast library of games when I notice two games in particular. First is the description of Fracture. It just says "Buy this wonderful game now!!" Seriously, what the ****? How thick skinned can people be. Another is Operation Darkness, which states that it is "the best RPG/strategy game" Wow. Just wow. I am amazed at how oblivious to criticism these developers are. Operation Darkness has an average score of 4.6/10 by the way.

Eding off this post with these pictures. See you tomorrow. [Saturday my favourite day:D]
This is a pit stop area for the cars. The people sitting at those seats probably paid a lot.
Say Yin and Osel.
A close up of the pit stop area.
I love the way guitar strings are packed.
I also love how smooth a new string feels.
This is my hoodie. I wanted to get the My Chemical Romance one but screw them, they're nothing compared to Slipknot.

Hello. Today was supposed to be a nice day. It really was. Until our History teacher ruined it. I think she bears some grudge against our class. She treats 4J and 4I students like friends although they score lower than us. And towards our class, she is like this beast.

She comes in looking all moody, then she usually just writes a question on the board, then she sits at the teacher's desk. She is always sick with sore throat and stuff, so she says that she cannot talk and she shouldn't be in school and all, but she says that she still comes to help us.

Today, she came into our class looking moody as usual, and she writes the question onto the board. She then sits at the teacher's desk and starts typing the answers. The question is a hard one, so most of us are clueless. After a long time she walks around an finds out that most of us only have one or two paragraphs.

So she gives this stupid speech, dropping F-bombs here and there. She tells us that it is not easy, but we are not even trying. She starts asking people for answers, but of course we dunno. So we try our best to answer, and she gets angry at our answers. Ok, so now we don't know she scolds, we don't do also she scolds, so we don't really have much of a choice.

She then tells us that she can just not come and let some other teacher take over her period if we don't give her the right attitude. Seriously, what the **** is considered the right attitude to her? Anyways, I feel like telling her to go ahead. I would be happy if she could exchange her fruitless history periods with any other teacher who could actually teach.

Seriously, why do people like these even exist. She is the only teacher who tells us that we are screwed for the O level History paper. Alright guys, let's prove her wrong. Everyone get an A for Combined Humanities. Then when we get the results we can thank everyone but her. Crazy beast lady.

Damn, I had to vent my frustration. Now I feel much better. I'm quite enjoying Maths periods these days because Mr Teng is awesome. He jokes with us, releases us on time, and he even stopped his lessons 15 mins earlier today. I'm sorry that I once used to hate him. He's cool now.

Anyways, after school today Say Yin followed me to Tiong Bahru market. I ate pork cutlet and mango ice kachang. Thanks to Vanessa for [indirectly] introducing me to the shop that sells the awesome ice kachang.

After that Say Yin and me went to this fitness corner near by and we just talked cock for a while. After that I went home and used my computer for a while, and I also did some work. At about 5pm this pet shop guy came and took my aunt's dog from our house because the dog's flight to Amsterdam is today. I think I'll miss him.

Today happened to be the 1 year anniversary of Halo 3, which came out last year on this date. I would have made a big deal of it if Halo 3 had actually been a game it could have been. But still, I feel that I need to at least mention that today is anniversary number one, because while Halo 3 isn't that good a game, the Halo series still has me as a fan.

So here's to the series that sparked off my interest in gaming; the series that started off with a life changing game; the series that caused me to spend tens of hours online; the series that made me buy an Xbox 360; the series that single handedly set unbreakable records for sales of any entertainment item [music, movies, games]; and the series that ended off with a game that could have been so much more.

Here's to Halo 3, as well as the Halo series. While the Master Chief's story as ended, the Halo series will live on for decades to come, as new Halo games constantly add more and more to the ever growing Halo universe. End of post, see you tomorrow.
Master Chief, the protagonist of Halo. He managed to become more famous than Mario [who's been around since the 1980's] within approximately one week. Respect.

Hi everyone. Today was pretty boring. I didn't really do much. In school we got back our Geography paper. I think I did alright, but I feel that I could have done better. I think I just need to put in a bit more effort to ensure that I get an A1 for O level Geography. Maybe I should study everything properly, instead of just relying on whatever information I remember.

After school, Say Yin followed me to the Indian food shop near my house and we ate mutton briyani and drank ice milo dinosaur. I like. After that, I went home and took a shower, then I followed my mother and brother to Toa Payoh. My brother had Chinese tuition from 4pm-6pm, then I had Chinese tuition from 6.30pm-8.30pm.

First we dropped off my brother at my tuition teacher's flat, then we walked to HDB Hub. We went to Popular and my mother bought me the October issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine. We went to the food court at the basement level of HDB Hub after that. My mother was marking some of my brother's PSLE practice papers while I read my magazine and ate ice jelly.

At about 6pm, we started walking to my tuition teacher's flat. I had tuition with Chloe and her brother Austin. Austin said that I reminded me of Yao Ming because of my height. I do not agree to this because Yao Ming is waaaayyy taller than me, and he is way too ugly.

Then Chloe asked me if I knew who I reminded her of. I said who, and she said that I reminded her of the Great Khali. Oh man lol. I don't think I'm that ugly. Why don't people actually start telling me that I remind them of someone who actually looks closer to me, like some Hollywood star or something. I'm just kidding.

After that I went to cut my hair at a Malay barber at Bishan. Damn it he cut until so short. So now I look like a fresh army recruit. Ok maybe it's not that bad. I don't really mind actually, because now I can actually feel the wind on my scalp. Ok ending off this short post with a few pictures. See you tomorrow.

I'm probably as tall as that guy with the cap on the right compared to Yao Ming. This guy looks like a freakin lunatic. You can't compare me to that. I'm only a freakin lunatic when I need to be one.

Hello. Today we had school until 12.45pm. Actually, if there is nothing on after 12.45pm, that's the time we are going to be dismissed everyday until school ends. Today we got back a few more papers.

Physics was ok, but I wanted higher. We also got back English. I think I'm the top in class. But I'm not happy. Why? Because I'm 1 mark short of an A. What the **** man. One. Bitchin. Mark. Man. People cry when they flunk English. I cry because I can't get an A for the subject. I'm awesome.

After we were dismissed, I was walking to the stairs outside the toilet when some guys from 4I [The class closest to the stairs] suddenly told me that I had an A2 for Geography as I walked past them. I was like "Huh? You serious?" because I thought I was going to fail the paper. They told me that Mr Low, our Geography teacher, had a lesson in their class, but he went to the staff room to get something.

He happened to leave all the test papers of his classes on the teacher's desk. So I went in and checked it out. Wow. I really got an A2 man. 36.5/50. That's only for one of the Geography papers. I dunno if it's Physical or Human geog, but I really thought I was going to fail. Guess not.

After that, Say Yin, Sebastian, Yeow Boon and Shi Jie went to play LAN. Addicts. Yan Ming didn't go because he was emo-ing over his marks. I went back home and ate my lunch. I ate this lemon chicken rice from Tiong Bahru Market and it rocks man. I really like it.

Then I played Xbox for a bit. I played a few Pro Face-Offs and Battle modes with my brother in Guitar Hero 3, and he pwned me every time. Damn it. We played Welcome to the Jungle by Guns n Roses [I lost], The Pretender by Foo Fighters [I lost again], Top Gun Anthem [Guess what? I lost] and Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce [Cramped my fingers like ****].

After that I played Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for the first time on my own Xbox. Hmmm, what can I say. Alright. We all know about B grade movies. They are movies with a lower budget and often focus on over the top action. Then this is what I can say about Mercs 2: It is the ultimate B grade game. You'll love this game if you love destruction. It's fun to blow shit up, but I'm a little disappointed at the cutscenes and voice acting.

Cutscenes are little videos in between different levels which tell the story of the game. And cutscenes are usually better than, or at least of the same graphical standard of the game. However, the cutscenes in Mercs 2 aren't good. Then graphics look last gen in the cutscenes, although they are alright in the game. But the voice acting is atrocious to a point that it becomes hilarious to even hear the characters talk.

At the start of Mercs 2, you get to pick one of 3 mercenaries, Chris, Mattias or Jennifer. Each of these characters have a unique trait that will help you throughout the game. Chris can carry more ammo, Jennifer can sprint faster, and Mattias has faster health regeneration. I'd recommend anyone who has this game to play as Mattias, the guy with the mohawk.

He speaks like Arnold Schwarzenegger, and his lines are hilariously cheesy. Upon picking up a new gun, he says to the gun, "I think I'll call you Louisa. We're gonna kill a whole lotta people Louisa." Wow. He actually needs to name a gun a female name. What a lonely man he must be. The best line I ever heard him say was, "Tank. I like." in this mono tone voice. LMAO.

Anyways, I took a video of the opening cutscene, as well as the first 10 mins of the game. I actually managed to get 40 Achievement points just by completing the Tutorial and first level. So now my total Gamerscore is 6980. 20 more to 7000!! Ok, so here's the video, with commentary by Yours Truly:

I played till 4pm, and ever since I've been doing the Maths Set C questions, as well as some Chemistry questions from the 5 year series. I guess that's gonna be my daily routine until school ends for Sec 4s [Either next Friday or the Friday after that], go to school, come home, play Xbox for a while, study, use computer or watch TV, then sleep.

I actually managed to have a balance of play and study. Ok maybe there's more play than study, but who cares. Everyone thinks that O levels means chiong study, but no, you need to play to. So have a balance. I dunno if I actually make sense. Ok anyways, end of post, see you tomorrow.

Hi. We finally had full day school today. During the past few weeks, we were finishing at different times because we were having our Prelims. Now that Prelims are over, we can have normal school days again. We only got back and went through some papers today. My results aren't too bad, and I think I'll be able to meet my target for the Prelims.

At 12.45pm, we had to go to the T.K.Low hall for some talk. Turned out to be sex education. Yay. But the speaker sucked. He was like this nerd man who gave us really stupid tips. He told us this story: Two men are walking down the street. They see a sexily dressed woman. One looks away, and the other looks at the woman. Then he asks us: Who was correct? a)The one who looked away, b)The one who continued looking, c)Both of them or d)neither of them.

Me, being me, of course thought that the guy who continued looking was correct. This is obviously correct. Let me ask you. Why would a woman dress sexily? For the man to look right? So I picked (b). In the end the answer was (c). This was the speaker's explanation: They are both correct because the woman was actually a prostitute. The man who looked away did that because he did not want to lust after that woman. The man who kept on looking was also right because he wasn't looking at how the woman was dressed, but he was looking at her character.

Ok. Wait a second. If you are a whore, and you have people doing this and that to avoid banging you, then you're one heck of a weak whore, aren't you? No business at all. That's why I concluded that the speaker was noob.

After school, Say Yin, Sebastian, Shi Jie, Yeow Boon and Yan Ming went to Serangoon garden LAN. I didn't go because 1)I don't want to play DotA anymore until after O level and 2)I need to save money. So I went back home. I didn't play Xbox at all.

I did, however, play Fight of Characters Bleach edition. It was fun. I tried out Urahara, Chad and Renji today. Urahara can summon a super imba clone with 5000HP and I think 30HP regen per second or something. The clone can do critical 1000+ damage. Chad is quite good too because he have reincarnate. If he died, he will respawn immediately. Renji is pretty much the same as the one in the previous Fight of Characters, but now his Bankai is actually the giant bone snake instead of some giant bird.

After that I continued doing the Maths Set C questions for about 1hr, then I stopped to write this post. I need to end off now, because I need to continue with my revision. O level in about 30 days. So see you tomorrow.

Hi everyone. What did I do today? Quite a lot actually. I woke up at 10am because my father wanted me to go to the temple with him. This is a once in a blue moon kinda thing because I am not exactly a religious person.

After that, we went to Bukit Merah NTUC to get groceries. My father let me do everything, because he said that from next week onwards, I would be going to get the groceries on my own, so he wanted me to try out. He even asked me to keep his ATM card and he asked me to type in the PIN number during payment. This is so that know how to use my ATM card when I get it this year end.

After that I came home, and I did the Maths Set C questions. I did that from 1pm-2.30pm, then my cousins and my aunt came to by house. My cousins just bought Fifa Street 3, and they wanted to play with us. We played 4 player versus. It's alright I guess, but if I had the game I would get bored of it after a week.

Anyways, it gave me free 60 Achievement Points, and I don't even know what are those points for, but who cares. Points are points. Now my gamerscore is at a total of 6940. 60 more to the 7000 mark. Working on it.

After that I went to tuition. Queensway Secondary sec 3 tomorrow having English SA2, so everyone was asking about the letter writing format and stuff. I couldn't remember formal and informal yesterday, but I do now.

After tuition, my father picked me up and I went to buy dinner. After dinner I sent the letter writing notes Mr. Quayle gave us to my tuition friend, then my father nagged at me until I went to bed.

End of short post, see you tomorrow.

Hello people. Today I was still slacking, but at least I studied a little bit. My mother woke me up at about 10am, because my family was going to Toa Payoh since my brother and sister had Chinese tuition.

I played Grand Theft Auto for 3 hours, and I didn't do a single mission. I was hunting some Achievements, and I was also working on my relationships with all my friends in the game. I managed to get two Achievements, 10 points each. I also managed to get all my friends to like me above 90%. I just need to maintain this and I'll be getting another Achievement which requires all remaining friends at the end of the game to like you above 90%.

The first part of the Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable content will be coming soon [About Fall...which is this month!!]. This is the first of about 3 expansion packs for GTA IV. Each will feature new main and secondary characters, a new story arc, as well as new cities [It is not confirmed yet, but the rumour is that each DLC will have an entire city, rather than new Liberty City islands].

Each DLC pack adds on about 10 hours of gameplay, as well as new achievements, vehicles, clothes, weapons and of course, Easter Eggs [A secret the developers delibrately put into the game]. I hope there is an achievement for completing the game without even cheating once, because that's what I'm going to do. Each pack will probably cost between 1200-2400 Microsoft Points [about S$24-S$48], and these are Xbox 360 exclusive, meaning they will only be on the 360 and not on the PS3.

After that I studied for about 1 hour, then I had to go for tuition. During tuition I found out that Art is actually very difficult. At first it may seem easy, but I don't think it is. For example, if you have a topic like Sales, you must draw something that represents sales. Difficult man. How do you represent something you cannot see? It blows my mind. :0

After tuition I went home and ate my dinner, after that I started using my computer to surf the net a bit, and then I decided to type this post. Since I have nothing better to do, I'm going to tell you about the various [main] genres of games, and what I think of each of them.

Genre: Action.

The Wikipedia Definition: An action game requires players to use quick reflexes and timing to overcome obstacles. They are perhaps the most basic of gaming genres, and certainly one of the broadest. Action games tend to have gameplay with emphasis on combat.

My Definition: Action games are fun game which require little to no intellect to play them. Occasionally there will be a puzzle or two that require minimal brain power to solve. These games are basically full of testosterone fueled action, usually with sick, over the top combos and lots of violence. Good genre.

Examples: Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry

Genre: Action-Adventure [Adventure by itself is almost extinct, so I didn't bother to include it]
The Wikipedia Definition: Action-Adventure games combine elements of their two component genres, typically featuring long-term obstacles that must be overcome using a tool or item as leverage (which is collected earlier), as well as many smaller obstacles almost constantly in the way, that require elements of action games to overcome. Action-adventure games tend to focus on exploration and usually involve item gathering, simple puzzle solving, and combat.

My Definition: These games require more thinking to play because they are usually puzzle heavy. Any single level in these games usually play out like this: Run, Kill enemy, Solve puzzle, Run, Kill more enemy, Solve final puzzle, Boss fight. These games are also full of secrets hidden throughout the level, encouraging the player to explore. By finding all the secrets, the player will be rewarded with a bonus, like an uber powerful weapon, infinite energy, or even better, God mode. Fun to play if you like to explore.

Examples: Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia

Genre: Fighting.
The Wikipedia Definition: Fighting games emphasize one-on-one combat between two characters, one of which may be computer controlled. These games are usually played by linking together long chains of button presses on the controller to use physical attacks to fight. Many of the movements employed by the characters are usually dramatic and occasionally physically impossible.

My Definition: It's like, FIGHTING. What do you think it's about? Seriously, take a guess. Fighting games are good party games [meaning they are fun to play when your friends are over at your house] but if you are a solo gamer, fighting games do not last long. Sure, it's cool to see your character pull of some insane move, but how fun will it be after you've seen that move hundreds of times? Good when there are friends to play with.

Examples: Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat

Genre:Music
The Wikipedia Definition: Music games most commonly challenge the player to follow sequences of movement or develop specific rhythms. Some games require the player to input rhythms by stepping with their feet on a dance pad, or using a device similar to a specific musical instrument, like a replica drum set.

My Definition: Music games rock. Almost anyone will be tempted to play these [Even my mother and sister, who never play games, gave Guitar Hero a try when I first bought it. These have become the ultimate party games, especially in recent years, when Rock Band was released. Guitar Hero took the world by storm when it came out. Rock Band took social gaming to a whole new level with the inclusion of a drum kit and microphone along with guitar and bass. These games have a gradual learning curve, so no matter how noobish you are, you can slowly get used to it. Some songs on Expert are still impossible though. Awesome genre.

Examples: Rock Band, Guitar Hero

Genre:Racing

The Wikipedia Definition: Racing games typically place the player in the driver's seat of a high-performance vehicle and require the player to race against other drivers or sometimes just time.

My Definition: So it's racing. Everything except the Burnout series sucks.

Examples
: Burnout, Need for Speed

Genre: Role Playing Game [RPG]
The Wikipedia Definition: Role Playing Games draw their gameplay from traditional RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons. Most cast the player in the role of one or more "adventurers" who specialize in specific skill sets (such as combat or casting magic spells) while progressing through a predetermined storyline. Many involve maneuvering these character(s) through an overworld, usually populated with monsters, that allows access to more important game locations, such as towns, dungeons, and castles.

My Definition: My favourite genre of games. RPGs split up into several smaller categories: Action RPG, traditional RPG and Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game [MMORPG].

Action RPGs
are my favourite types of games. These put you in the shoes of the character and usually have heavy emphasis on exploration and story.

Traditional RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons usually allow 4 players to play in a team, with each character having different abilities. These usually take place in mythical settings, and characters can level up. As characters level up, their stats improve. Character's stats also increase depending on the type of weapon they are wielding and clothes they are wearing. Items like healing potions and mana potions also play a big part in these games.

MMORPGs are for no life people. These are online, and players [a few thousand per server] can join clans and do quests. Sounds interesting, but in reality, it'll only make you spend a billion hours in front of your computer and you'll lose all your friends.

Examples: Action RPG-Dead Rising, Oblivion; Traditional RPG-Dungeons and Dragons, Final Fantasy, MMORPG-World of Warcraft, Age of Conan

Genre: Real Time Strategy [RTS]
The Wikipedia Definition:
The moniker "Real Time Strategy" (RTS), usually applied only to certain computer strategy games, indicates that the action in the game is continuous, and players will have to make their decisions and actions within the backdrop of a constantly changing game state. Real-time strategy gameplay is characterised by obtaining resources, building bases, researching technologies and producing units.

My Definition: My least favourite genre of games. If I want to play games, I don't want to think. If I played a game actually force me to think, I'd rather spend the time on Maths or something. I'm gonna get a migraine either way.

Examples: Command and Conquer, Starcraft

Genre: Simulation

The Wikipedia Definition
: Simulation games involve living or controlling one or more artificial lives. A simulation game can revolve around individuals and relationships, or it could be a simulation of an ecosystem.

My Definition: Probably one of the most boring genres. Unless it lets you be a god, with a ferocious beast that can kill people who disobey you, like in Black and White. This is seen as more of a casual genre and you know my views on casual gamers pussies.

Examples: The Sims, [f***ing] Spore

Genre: Sports

The Wikipedia Definition
: Sport games emulate the playing of traditional physical sports. Some emphasize actually playing the sport, while others emphasize the strategy behind the sport.

My Definition
: You will only like sports games if you like the sport. And if you like the sport so much, why don't you just play it yourself? I dunno why people like sports games. Is it because they have the opportunity to play as their sport idol? Or is it because they ACTUALLY ENJOY the game? Hmm. I'm not getting something here. Only wrestling games are fun when 4 people are playing because the stuff you can do in it are crazy. You can also hit some one's head until it bleeds and that is a definite plus.

Examples: Pro Evolution Soccer, WWE Smackdown VS RAW

Genre: Shooter
The Wikipedia Definition
:A shooter game focuses primarily on combat involving projectile weapons, such as guns and missiles. They can be divided into first-person and third-person shooters, depending on the camera perspective.

My Definition
: Well, well, we finally come to the Shooter genre. Dear, beloved shooter. This is probably the most whored genre in gaming history. Everywhere you look, there's a new shooter game just screaming for you're attention, but unfortunately for this poor shooter game, its voice is drowned out by the cries of the thousands of other shooters calling out for that same attention.

Seriously, that is the situation now. After Halo: Combat Evolved's mad success, everything just went BAM. Every developer wanted to make shooter. Until now, I, a fan of shooter games, must admit that it is getting old. Every time I see another shooter game, I just ignore it. Because there are a thousand other games just like it. Of course, once in a while a solid shooter like Call of Duty 4 comes along, but that is really once in a blue moon. Poor over abused genre.

Examples: Halo, Call of Duty

Wow, that was tiring. Ok, ending off this post with this picture. See you tomorrow.

Hi everyone. Today is a day of slack, but there was school in the morning, from 8am-9am. We had Physics/Chemistry Multiple Choice questions. 40 questions, 1 hour. I was very well "prepared" because I even brough my own dice to help me with selecting my answer. The Physics questions were easy, but the Chemistry ones were a little hard.

During morning assembly, Mr Quayle said "Very good Shiva" as he walked past me. Scary, because I dunno if he was being sarcastic about my English mark. But later on, when the Science papers were being collected, Mr Quayle said to me "Very good Shiva. Your Compre getting a mark more like what I would expect you to" Oh wells, I has pwned again.

After school I bought breakfast from McDonalds and went to my friend's house. I won't say what happened there [See friend, I where got tell the whole world? ;)] Stayed there until 1pm, then I went home. Once I reached home I played Xbox for 4 hours straight. I only played 3 games, half an hour of Guitar Hero 3, half an hour of Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, and 3 hours of Grand Theft Auto IV.

I was starting to lose interest in GTA IV, so I started a new game a few weeks ago, and now I'm trying to get the "Liberty City Minute" achievement, which requires you to complete the game within 30 hours. Not as easy as it sounds. Anyways, I played about 5 missions, but I was spending the rest of the time trying to get some other achievements. I managed to get "It'll Cost Ya", "Under the Radar" and "Finish Him" The first one is easy, but the other two aren't. Here are the required conditions for the achievements:

It'll Cost Ya [5G]-Sit through an entire taxi ride from one island to another. You cannot skip the trip, and you cannot exit the cab until your character gets out himself. This is not difficult, it is just really boring. Sit through the entire ride [about 5 mins] for some cheap points.

Finish Him [15G]-Perform 10 counter kills in 4 minutes. This one is kinda hard because you cannot get a Wanted level, because you will take time to escape the cops, leaving you with less time to kill
people. Problem is, cops are everywhere in Liberty City. I managed to do it at the Helitours area, the places where all the helicopters are parked. People keep on entering this location, and the cops rarely appear at this area.

Under the Radar [40G]-This one is hard because it requires you to have some skill at maneuvering a helicopter, and it is tedious because you have to find all 13 main bridges in Liberty city and fly under them. It took me about 20 mins, because I kept crashing my heli, and because I don't want to cheat [Cheating blocks achievements, and an achievement whore like me can't accept that], I had to keep going back to the Helitours place to hijack a new heli. But 40 points is a lot, so I guess it's worth it.

While I was playing I downloaded Harold & Kumar:Escape From Guantanamo Bay. It's a nice movie to watch and I definitely don't mind watching it again. The only question I have is how much the directors had to pay THAT many hot ladies to get naked for the camera. Hmmm. Anyways, while the show is pretty unrealistic at times, it is genuinely funny. If you liked the [awesome] American Pie series, you'll probably like this because it is funnier.

After that I surfed the net a bit. IGN's webpage is now Version 6.0 beta, and it looks pretty cool. Another poll I found on IGN, to give Sony fanboys a migraine:Whoo new [awesome] Fallout 3 website up and running http://www.prepareforthefuture.com You'll need at least 2mb/s connection speed to run the site smoothly. Anything other than that is going to cause the site to lag on your computer.

Well, I guess there's nothing else for me to say. I'm gonna watch another movie now, and I'm in the mood for some Jackass No.2. Ok people, see you tomorrow.

Hello people. Today is my last day of school-less slack. Tomorrow is also a day of slack, but I have to go to school in the morning from 8-9am to do the Science multiple choice. Waste time. Anyways, today I did go to Toa Payoh because I had Chinese tuition. Uber boring because I was the only one there [every other Sec 4 had school]. At least if there's someone else there, and that person doesn't want to talk to me, I'll still get some amusement out of watching their facial expressions.

I woke up a 9am, and my mother was sitting on my bed. She was talking to my father, who was using my computer. I took my bath, ate my breakfast, then my parents sent me to the tuition teacher's house. At about 12.30pm, my mother fetched me, and we went to get lunch, after that we went home. The only other thing I did for the rest of today was play Xbox. Played lost planet and Gears of War. Here is a [bloody, gorey] video of Gears of War executions, and another of the opening and first 10 mins of Lost Planet:

Gears of War Executions

Lost Planet

Ultimates Volume 2
Early this morning [like 2am early], I was reading The Ultimates Vol. 2 comics, and I have to admit, it is one of the best Western comic series I have ever read. Vol. 1 ended off nicely. The Ultimates had just stopped a large scale invasion of an alien race who was bent on the destruction of mankind. Good reason to celebrate.

Vol.2 is even better. Loki, the norse god of trickery, tricks everyone into believing that his half brother, Thor is not really a thunder god, but is just a lunatic is a power suit instead. Things start falling apart after the Ultimates take down Thor. Hawkeye's family is murdered, and the culprits knew the codes to enter Hawkeye's house, so SHIELD director Nick Fury suspects that it is someone on the team.

He thinks that Captain America isn't the real deal, and he suspects that Captain America is the murderer. He captures Captain America, and with the Ultimates weakened, Loki and his team of villains, The Liberators, go on a full scale attack on America, trying to start World War 3.

It's a really good series and there are lots of cool scenes. Here are a few good ones.

Bruce Banner, who everyone assumes is dead, let's one Loki's robot foot soldiers step onto him. He transforms into the Hulk and lifts the robot with one hand, and he crushes the pilot. He then actually mocks the other pilots, "See this? One hand. NOW BRING IT ON!!"

Hawkeye is surrounded by his captors and he is tied onto a chair. There is no objects in to room Hawkeye can use to kill them with. Or so they think. Hawkeye had earlier ripped off all his fingernails and he uses them as projectiles to kill his captors.

As the Ultimates are starting to get out numbered by the foot soldiers, Tony Stark arrives, slightly drunk, in his Iron Man v6 armour. Sure, one man might not be able to turn the tide of the battle, but the new armour is basically a satellite station armed to the core with lasers.

Quicksilver is fighting Hurricane and he is starting to lose. Quicksilver normally runs at 600km/h, so Hurricane was modified to run 2-3 times that speed. When Hurricane starts to threaten Quicksilver's friends, he stops holding back and starts running at his top speed of about 8000m/s. Hurricane's body is not able to take that speeds and her particles break apart.

Loki summons his army of Orcs, Giants and other mythical beast from norse mythology, and he tells the Ultimates that the world is doomed. Scarlet Witch says, "Not if I can stop you." Loki laughs and replies "You? What can a little Scarlet Witch do to me? All you can do is alter probability" And Scarlet Witch goes like "Oh, I dunno, maybe increase the odd of someone to show up and kick your ass?" And there's a flash of lightning and Thor appears, along with an army a Asgardians. Sick.

OMG WHAT'S THIS?!
I was also watching a Gears of War 2 vidoc [video document] this morning, and I found one pretty interesting new character. Here is the screenshot:
It looks like a Predator, but it's actually rumored to be called Skorge. He is possibly a boss character and he wields a staff which has chainsaws on both ends. Rumors that he'll be available in multiplayer as well. Looks totally badass to me. Love how the new Gears seems to be much darker than the original one.

Ok, ending off this post with this picture. See you tomorrow.

Hello. Today was my day of slacking. I decided to to study anything until this week is over, then I'll resume my O level revision next week. So today I only played Xbox. I woke up at 11.45 am, because I slept at 3.15 am earlier today. My father was at home, because he had a forklift training course today instead of work. At about 12pm, my mother sent my father to the place. I was alone at home, so I decided to play some games.

I turned on my Xbox and connected to Xbox Live because I wanted to download the PURE demo. Then my aunt's dog went to the door and looked at me. That meant that it needed to go. So I brought it down and it went. I came back and started to play some games while my demo downloaded.

I played 6 games today [Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, Fifa 2007, Def Jam Icon, Burnout Paradise, Guitar Hero 3] and I realised something about each of them:
Gear of Wars: Insane mode is freaking difficult and once you encounter the Torque Bow wielding enemy on level 3 the game pretty much becomes impossible.

Call of Duty 4: Veteran diffuculty is even harder than Gears of War's Insane mode.

Fifa 2007: Has the most stupid ass achievements ever that require you to play like an absolute god in order to earn them.
Def Jam Icon: It was stupid when I played it last year, it is still [if not more] stupid now. I'm sorry for myself that I tried to play it again.

Burnout Paradise: The Cagey update actually adds a cool screen that displays the temperature, weather and time of day of the city you are living in. We live in Singapore, so the temperature was shown as 32 degrees Celsius, and the weather was sunny. Nice.

Guitar Hero 3:Practice mode actually works. When I first played The Pretender [Foo Fighters] on Hard mode, I failed. I practiced for 30 mins, then tried again, and I got 93% Amazing.

After that I watched The Incredible Hulk on my computer, then I went to play the PURE demo, which is really fun. Here's a video of the demo:

I spent the rest of my day reading comics on my computer, the I surfed the net a bit, then I started working on some Bleach drawing [Yan Ming I know I told you that I'll be drawing the 3 sannins from Naruto, but I can't find a good pic.] After two hours I called my friend. Talked a while. I think everything is okay now. I hope so.

RANT ON BRAINLESS FANBOYISM
Ok I need to rant a bit. I found this poll on IGN.com, which is probably the most reliable videogame website. Facepalm to all the stupid ass Sony whores who think the PS3 is owning. Xbox 360 cannot make it? Yeah right, noobs.
It also proves the fact that the Wii is shit, PC gaming is a dying breed, the DS is more popular than the PSP, and mobile phones should just remain as phones. All stuff that I've said before, and yet everyone doesn't believe me.

Seriously, get on my level first before telling me about your thoughts on gaming. I'm been into [like REALLY into] gaming for 6 years now, so you need to work hard to close that permanent gap you people have between yourselves and me. Good luck.

Now you know why I get frustrated when I'm talking to others about gaming. It is not the fact that some one supports a system that makes me mad, it the way they support it although they don't know shit about what they're talking. At least I can respect the fanboys and the internet because they know what they're talking about. Brainless fanboyism is for retards and I'm getting sick of it. Argue, fine, but at least know what you're arguing about. Oh well. Rant over.

I also sorted all my games into 3 groups, those that I've completed, those that I plan to complete, and those I refuse to complete due to various degrees of suckiness. Here's the list:

Games I have completed

Dead or Alive
Gears of War

Marvel Ultimate Alliance

Crackdown

Guitar Hero 2

Halo 3

Naruto Rise of a Ninja

Call of Duty 4

Assassin's Creed

Devil May Cry 4

Army of Two

Grand Theft Auto 4

Ninja Gaiden 2

Guitar Hero 3

Games I plan to complete

Tony Hawk's Project 8

Lost Planet

Dead Rising
Rainbow Six Vegas
Bioshock
The Orange Box
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

Burnout Paradise

GUN

Unreal Tournament 3

*Battlefield Bad Company

*Alone in the Dark

*Tomb Raider Anniversary

*Mercenaries 2: World in Flames

Note: Games with * in front of them mean that I have the game but I have not played it yet]

Games that are too shit for me to bother

Fifa 2007

Superman Returns

Def Jam Icon

Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars [I hate all RTS except Endwar and Halo Wars]

Finally, I have to say this: I LOVE CRITERION!! They are the best videogame company ever. They are the only one who really understands us gamers. While companies like Bungie charge $16 for 3 maps, and Team Ninja charges $4 for Ninja Gaiden Armour[Seriously, wtf?], Criterion is GIVING us the latest update for Burnout Paradise for free. And unlike the Halo maps and Ninja Gaiden armour, this update is actually game changing.

It introduces bikes into the Burnout series, as well as a day and night cycle, and 70 new challenges. For free. Damn, I'd expect that to cost at least $10. Thanks Criterion! Keep doing stuff like this, and I'll keep supporting you. If you don't already have Burnout Paradise [It's only $40 and it's like the best racing game so far], you should seriously consider buying it. Here's a trailer of the upcoming update:

In the future, when my game is released [noticed I said WHEN and not IF] exclusively for the next Xbox, I'm gonna do the same with my downloadable content. But my downloadable content isn't just gonna be new characters or maps, it's going to be entire cities, each with its own unique set of character, and each character is going to have a story mode, so that means each DLC will be around 8-10 hours long.

And I'm gonna release them FOR FREE whenever I can [sometimes the companies of the consoles for you to put a price on you DLC, because part of the profit goes to them]. Sure, I'll lose money, or I won't be able to make as much money as I could, but honestly, I don't care. I'm not striving to get into the game industry for the money, I want to do it for my love of gaming!! If I wanted money I'd just become a lawyer or some other [loser] office job.

Ok ending off this post. See you tomorrow everyone.

Hi there people. Although we didn't have any paper today, we still needed to go to school to check our CCA records. I woke up at 8am because the dog was licking my hand. I took my bath and changed into my uniform, then played Guitar Hero 3 for a while. Then I left for school.

When I reached school, only Justin was there. After a while Osel came, followed by Yong Qin. We went to the Training Room, which was the venue for use to check our records. When I fist checked I was shocked. 8 points, C6?!! Wtf? Then the General Office clerk told me that uniform group attendance and leadership were not added yet. Huge relief. So she helped me add my attendance, and I got 20 points, which is an A2, meaning I can minus 2 points off my L1R5 [Can own even more]. Once they add my leadership points I should have about 23 points.

After checking, Yan Ming, Say Yin, Hadrian and me went to Vivo. We ate at Burger King, then Hadrian went home. Say Yin and Yan Ming came to my house to borrow my basketball, then they went to Tiong Bahru CC to play. I didn't go with them, because I was going to my friend's house, but then my friend bad mood, so I still played basketball in the end.

We 3 v 3 some Bukit Merah Secondary School people at first, and we lost. But it was fun. Then one more of their friends came [I think he was my primary school school mate], and the new guy joined our team, and we played 4 v 4. Although these guys looked more Ah Beng then the dicks yesterday [they played half naked, then one of them got tattoo on his chest some more], they were much more matured, so I think everyone enjoyed the match. They keep on saying in Chinese that I'm damn big, so damn scary. lol.

After that Yan Ming went to see his gf at Tiong Bahru market. Me and Say Yin followed him, but then I left very quickly because the atmosphere damn tense. I went home and took a shower, then I ate my dinner and slacked around. After watching Calefare [Sanjay aka Vadi PVSS ftw!! Queen Fiona too!!], I decided to call my friend, and I got owned. Fine. Be that way. I was a bit mean la, but it's alright.

After that I talked to Say Yin for a while, then I watched Sports Science and Destination Truth on Arts Central. This week's Destination Truth quite creepy, because they decided to see if the rumors of Iguanodon[a dinosaur] sightings in Paupa New Guinea were true. So they interviewed a villager who has claimed to see the dinosaur, then they asked her to take them to the location. They set up camp there and stayed in the jungle over night.

Then Suddenly got some leaves and branches about 3m above the ground start shaking, as if there is a large animal moving through them. Later on they found out that the only animals found there were Boars and Crocodiles. However, Boars are less than a meter tall, and the branches that moved were 3m up. Same thing with the crocodiles. They were big, but they weren't tall. In the end the myth remained unsolved and it is kinda creepy to think that there might actually still be dinosaurs living among us today.

A few games came out today, but there's on in particular that I've not even noticed until last week or so. It is PURE, the ATV racing game made by Black Rock Studios, and published by Disney games. It looks like a really cool and fun game to play, and so far all reviews for it have been positive, giving it scores of 8 and above out of 10. If there is local multipalyer, I'm definitely picking it up. Here's a video of the game:

PURE is an ATV[all terrain vehicle] racing game that features race tracks which go high up, and these tracks are full of jumps that will literally put you at the top of the world. Stunts are also a huge part of the game. While in mid air, you can pull off insane stunts to increase your score. Just get back onto your ATV before hitting the ground, or it's game over for you. Oh, and the graphics in that trailer? They're in game. Yes, be impressed, it's only natural. I'm probably gonna get this as soon as it is available. Alright, ending off this post here, because it's getting kinda late. Good night everyone, see you tomorrow.

Ok wow, today is like the end of the Prelims. There is still one more 1hr paper on Friday, but it's just multiple choice for Phy/Chem no need to study. Today we had Maths Paper 2. It's easier than previous ones, but I still found it a little hard, because my maths sucks. The paper was from 8am-10.30am. I started getting a headache at about 9.30am, but I survived the paper.

Then we had a break until 2pm. Yan Ming, Say Yin, Sebastian, Yeow Boon, Osel, Hadrian, Shi Jie and me went to Joo Seng eat. After eating we went back to school for some last minute Geography revision. After that we went to the hall, which was where we were going to take our paper. In the middle of the paper, headache struck back. But I tank the damage. The paper finished at 3.30pm, and everyone was joking that O levels were over.

After that Say Yin, Sebastian, Yan Ming, Yeow Boon and Shi Jie came to Tiong Bahru CC to play basketball. I didn't play, but I took a pictures. After that we went to Tiong Bahru Market to eat dinner. After that I went hope and like wow, my cousins were there. I returned Sakti his PSP, then they went home. Then I have been slacking ever since. Here are some pictures from today:
Walking down a mountain!! [Mt.Vernon. Our school is located on top ot it. No, it's not a real mountain.]Yeow Boon, Sebastian and Shi Jie [blocked by Yeow Boon...], waiting for empty court to play.Yeow Boon. I take a lot of his pictures because I'm disturbing him.Yan Ming and Sebastian waiting for the rest.Ok they are playing 5 v 5 with some ah bengs
We nearly scoreShi Jie playing while everyone else just kinda standing there...
They are seriously ah beng they even play bare footed...
This is another group. The guy lying down fell down on his head, so he has the right to cry.
We are going to the second floor of Tiong Bahru Market. Yeow Boon is giving the finger [again], but it got cut out of the picture.
When I asked him to do the finger agian, he just did this to act innocent.
I dunno what they're looking at.
Yeah!! Yan Ming's trademark triple middle finger. My mango ice kachang with chocolate and rainbow rice topping!! I like mangoes =D

Yeah, quite a lotta photos. I think I'm gonna continue watching 300 now [I paused it to type this post] I think I've already watched it 7-8 times, but it's still awesome. I'm gonna end off with some Slipknot lyrics, which actually mean something. Kinda true, the stuff they're saying about the world we live in. I'm starting to understand their songs. No matter how anti-government, anti-religion or anti-humanity they are, they actually make sense. Either that or I'm starting to become a misanthrope. I hope not. Anyways, here it is [If you believe in religion and whatever, you might want to give this a miss, because you might get offended. Proceed at your own risk, you have been warned.]:

"Gematria (The Killing Name)"

12/08/73 - that was all I got and now you got me

All I ever really wanted was to take the blame
I will go down in History and not down in Flames
Meningitis / I will survive this / Dry Sockets and a Schizophrenic Crisis
The Time of The Nine has begun
Get out of the way or you will suffer as one

This is so TYPICAL / APOCALYPTICAL
Hanging on abysmal release / Jesus
I don't need this / Don't wanna be this
Icon in the Making / My hands are fucking shaking

WHAT IF GOD DOESN'T CARE?
WHAT IF GOD DOESN'T CARE...

Remember / Surrender / The Time is Now
Continue / We're in you... and we will BURN YOUR CITIES DOWN

AMERICA IS A KILLING NAME
IT DOESN'T FEEL OR DISCRIMINATE
LIFE IS JUST A KILLING FIELD
IT'S ALL THAT'S LEFT - NOTHING'S REAL
THROW AWAY YOUR DISPOSABLE PAST
AND FALL APART LIKE A CIGARETTE ASH
WE ARE THE FATAL AND VITAL ONES OF THE WORLD
AND WE WILL BURN YOUR CITIES DOWN

WHAT IF GOD DOESN'T CARE?
WHAT IF GOD DOESN'T CARE?

AMERICA IS A KILLING NAME
IT DOESN'T FEEL OR DISCRIMINATE
LIFE IS JUST A KILLING FIELD
IT'S ALL THAT'S LEFT - NOTHING'S REAL
THROW AWAY YOUR DISPOSABLE PAST
AND FALL APART LIKE A CIGARETTE ASH
WE ARE THE FATAL AND VITAL ONES OF THE WORLD
AND WE WILL BURN YOUR CITIES DOWN

Down...

WE WILL BURN YOUR CITIES DOWN

Feed the Hungry - Feed them shit
Feed them BONES and POLITICS
You wanna revolutionize?
Be specific and believe your eyes
Start a war in another backyard
And we'll destroy your house of cards
Give me a minute and I'll change your mind
Give me a bullet and I'll change your life

Remember / Surrender / The Time is Now
Continue / We're in you...
And we will BURN YOUR CITIES DOWN

AMERICA IS A KILLING NAME
IT DOESN'T FEEL OR DISCRIMINATE
LIFE IS JUST A KILLING FIELD
IT'S ALL THAT'S LEFT - NOTHING'S REAL
THROW AWAY YOUR DISPOSABLE PAST
AND FALL APART LIKE A CIGARETTE ASH
WE ARE THE FATAL AND VITAL ONES OF THE WORLD
AND WE WILL BURN YOUR CITIES DOWN

WE WILL BURN YOUR CITIES DOWN

America... what if "God" doesn't care?

Good song, with meaning if you bother to find the hidden meanings among the lyrics, and actually think with an open mind how things are happening in our world these days. Slipknot not only makes good music, they make smart music too!! I think I'm rapidly decaying into a Maggot. Ok, that's all for today, see you people.
