Hi everyone. It was back to school yesterday. Final Lap, cuz O lvl is coming soon. We had Prelim 2 Maths Paper 1, which was really easy because it was set to O level standard. I never realised how much tougher our school papers were until doing this.Today, we had Chemistry open ended and long answer sections. It was alright, but not as easy as Prelim 1. After that we had Geography Paper 1, which only tested Sec 3 [Physical] Geography. It was alright too, but I didn't manage to finish my final paragraph for my level marking question. Oh wells.
I didn't really do much today. I finally finished drawing my picture of all the Espadas from Bleach. It took me almost he entire holiday to draw [and the original artist only took 2 days. Damn.] but I think I'm pretty happy with the end result. I decided to scan all my drawings so far into my com so that I could show them to you guys.
I know they're not great, so try not to be too harsh. Any comments on how to improve them would be greatly appreciated. And some one please teach me how to shade properly!! Okay, here are the pictures, with a bit of comments at below each one.
First drawing after a really long time. I used to like to draw when I was little, but I felt that I couldn't draw anymore for some reason, until I decided to try and draw this. It is a picture of the protagonist of Devil May Cry 4, Nero. I think I screwed up his face, especially his eyes. The eye behind his nose looks freakin hideous.
Next drawing, a picture of Sasuke from Naruto Shippuuden. I don't really like the way his face looks. Sasuke is suppose to be a 15 year old, but in the picture he looks like a 20-something. I also feel that I screwed up the eyes with the Sharingan pattern. Never thought it would be so hard to draw. I like the way his Chidori turned up though. Instead of the usual lightning bolts, I decided to draw it in a more stylized way. I initially felt that the curse seal on his shoulder was ugly, but it looks alright in the scan.
Third drawing, a picture of Naruto, the main character of the series. I decided to draw the 12 year old Naruto from the original series, as the 15 year old Naruto from Shippuuden was a little harder to draw. Overall I like this picture, from Naruto's rage look, to the way his clothes turned out. I don't really like his fingers though, especially the two that seem stuck together. I also feel that I should have made the Rasengan in his palm look more badass. Such a wicked attack deserves a better drawing than that. Maybe I'll compensate for that by drawing Naruto doing Rasen-Shuriken.
Fourth picture. This is actually the first large picture I drew, with more than one character in it. It took me 6 hours to complete. It's a picture of Iron Man battling his nemesis, Iron Monger, from the movie Iron Man. I feel that Iron Man turned out looking pretty cool[Awesome pose], and I also like the way Iron Monger looks so intimidating. My scanner is being good to me because somehow, the smoke in the picture turned out perfect in the scan, with the smoke barely visible, giving it a more realistic look. Punch that bitch down, Tony.
This is my fifth drawing, but it's not yet complete. It's a picture of Ichigo, the main character of Bleach. I still have to draw his body, but I've already done his face and mask, as well as his hand and his Zanpakutō. The face seemed wierd at first, but it looked better after I coloured the eyes black.
My final and most recent drawing, as well as the most complex and difficult to draw, a picture of all the ten Espadas. Overall the think it's alright. It looks ok as a group picture, but I feel that almost every Espada has a few flaws in the drawing. For example, Grimmjow[Bottom, middle] has weird looking eyes in my drawing. Ulquiorra's [middle] face is totally screwed up in this picture. Stark [Bottom, left] looks like something is missing from his picture. I don't really know what though.Ok that's all the pictures I've done so far. Hope you like them. I think I'll be doing six more drawings over the next few weeks. For Bleach, I'll be doing all the Captains, all the Vaizards and probably all the vice Captians. For Naruto I'll be doing all the Akatsuki, the three Sannins, and Hawk [Sasuke's group] Ok, I'm gonna sleep now. We're having practical tomorrow, but we only need to be in school by 11.15am. That's why Prelims are actually pretty nice. Go school late, go home early. Haha. See you tomorrow everyone.
