Hello. My entire family went to temple this morning, and then we went to Tiong Bahru plaza for breakfast. We went to Ya Kun Kaya Toast. The toast is alright, but the eggs and milo suck. My mother makes them so much better.By now I'm used to the fact that girls will look at me when I'm outside, but why must they mostly be indian girls?! Ok, no link, I know. Moving on.
I studied for my usual 5hr. I have yet to play Xbox. I was watching the Simpsons Movie on my computer before typing this post. It's a hilarious movie that's fun to watch.
I was also reading the magazine that Temasek Polytechnic gave all sec 4s. I was reading the last page, and I couldn't tell if they were joking. Anyways, here are my thoughts on their points:
"Everything from the price of your chicken rice to your taxi fare has gone up. Read on as t's show you 10 ways to stretch your allowance."
1. Get a few friends to sport the same hairstyles as you. Wearing identical outfits, the bunch of you can then take turns at buffets for the price of one.
My thoughts: Are they serious? Singaporeans may be ignorant, but they are far from stupid. And why the hell a buffet? If I was trying to say money, would the coffee shop be a much better choice?
2. Turn in your handphone for a Skype phone. You'll be able to use the wireless Internet acess in school to make your phone calls.
My thoughts: Yeah, and then you won't be able to make a call any where without Wi-Fi. I'll stick to my handphone, thank you very much.
3. Walk home from the interchange instead of taking a feeder bus. You'll get more exercise and save more money.
My thoughts: Can't argue against this one. Walking is a good thing, as long as your destination is within 3km of where you are currently at.
4. Drink from your own water bottle instead of buying soft drinks at the canteen. It's cheaper and healthier too.
My thoughts: Agreed. But Singaporeans have a problem carrying around water bottles. Because takes away the cool facter? Hmmp, poseurs.
5. Give your old T-shirts a new lease of life by adding your own graphic desighs to them. This way, you get to show off your creativity and save money.
My thoughts: I think they're forgetting about the money needed for the materials. And it'll take a whole lot of time. For successful people like me, time=money.
6. Use recycled paper when printing unimportant documents at home. You save money on paper and it's green.
My thoughts: Ok, no offense to any tree huggers out there, but I seriously don't give a damn about environment. Yeah, on day we're going to face a huge environmental crisis, but guess what? I'll be six feet under by the time that happens. To hell with the future generations.
7. Turn vegetarian. You pay less for three choices of vegetables at the hawker stall.
My thoughts: Like 50 cents less? Forget it man, now way I'm going vegetarian.
8. Plan the day better so that you can save money by watching movies on weekdays instead.
My thoughts: Pay? To watch movies? Damn, people still do that? Unless it's a huge blockbuster, use the internet.
9. Buy what you need, and not what you want. You'll be surprised at how much you can save.
My thoughts: This is a beggar tactic. If you really want to buy only what you need, you just need to get a freakin box to live in. Get your water from some drain and muder some cat for food. Hypocrits.
10. Carry little money at all times. You can't spend money if you don't have it.
My thoughts: That's what I do. It's a good tactic that allows me to save up to $70 per week. That's why I pwn everyone.
Tsk, tsk, the way people think. It's almost sad.

I went to Little India a few days ago to look at the decorations for Deepavali. Here are two pictures:
This year's decorations are less grand. I guess that they're trying to save money. I fully understand that we aren't as important because we are minorities. Singapore needs money for super important events like the F1 race and the annual fashion shows *sarcasm*. So we need to spend less on minority events. I fully understand. *cough*bitches*cough*.
Uploaded this as well. I had nothing better to do. It's photoshopped, but I did it in 2 minutes, so the quality isn't that good. I'm amused by that song.
Ok, ending off. I'm going tuition later. I'll blog about it if anything interesting happens. I still haven't solved my problem yet in case you're wondering. So I guess I'm done now. Ending off, see you tomorrow.
