Hello. Today was kinda tiring. My mother woke me up at 8.30am because the rest of my family was going to Toa Payoh. So I turned on my computer, continued downloading my movie, then I went back to sleep. I only slept at 4am early this morning, so I was damn tired.I woke up again 2 hours later. My movie still wasn't downloaded completely, so I used the computer for a bit, then I went onto Xbox Live. I played Call of Duty 4 for a while. When you afre feeling sleepy, you cannot play well, so of course I got my ass handed to me.
I played 3 matches. My team lost the first 2 matches. When I joined the third match, it was already in progress, and I was dumped into the winning team. We were pwning 520-270, but then my Internet connection died on me and I was booted from the game. Damn it.
I downloaded the Sonic Unleashed demo and tried it out. It is probably the smallest demo on Xbox Live, since the file size is only 186MB. Normally, demos are 700MB to 2GB in size. At first I thought that it was some mistake, but it turned out to be the real deal.
Anyways, I don't like it. The game doesn't feel natural. It feels more like the game is controlling Sonic while you just press the indicated buttons at the right timing. That's pretty boring. I didn't complete the demo because I didn't feel like it.
After that I took a shower and changed, then my father sent me to Queensway MRT station. I met Sebastian there and we walked to Ikea. Miraculously, Yan Ming got there almost on time. This is a big deal because he is Yan Ming, and we all know for a fact that he is always late. We were all wearing black shirts. Super black combo.
We went to the cafe to eat the meatballs, but the queue was really long, and the place was very crowded, so we walked around the place for a while. I went to look at the bedroom area. The place with all the different designs of bedrooms.
We walked from one cubicle to another, and in each one we sat down for a while and talked. The we go to the kitchen and Yan Ming and me were grading the kitchens according to how much room on the tables and counters there is for people to lie on. Why must people lie down on the tables and counters? Erm, I dunno. Use your imagination. Think like me, and you will understand.
Yan Ming was also going crazy with all the child toys and stuff. We walked about some more, then we went back to the cafe and the crowd was mostly gone. We went to sit in one corner and Sebastian and me ate meatballs while Yan Ming was playing his PSP. He was playing Monster Hunter 2 and after a while Sebastian also joined his game and they go gang some monster. The co-op is awesome I want to buy a PSP also then I can get that game and we can gang rape everything in our path.
After eating, we went to Queensway because Yan Ming wanted to look for shoes. Sebastian also got his own Monster Hunter game. We walked for damn long and Yan Ming couldn't find what he wanted. We went back to the game shop and we waited for Sebastian's game to be installed into his PSP.
I had to leave earlier because my family was going out. I took a bus home. It's been really long since I took bus 147 home. I used to take it every week when I still had Maths tuition. When I got home, I played Naruto: The Broken Bond. I realised something stupid.
When you leave Leaf Village, you must take 2 friends along with you. Some of these friends will have special abilities that help to open up previously inaccessible areas. You can choose to take any 2 from this list of characters: Sakura, Rock Lee, Negi, Choji, Shikamaru and Kiba.
Sakura and Rock Lee have no special abilities whatsoever, so they're out of the picture. Neji can help you sense invisible traps using his Byakugan, and Shikamaru can enter small areas using a shadow arm. However, Kiba can also sense invisible traps, and he can enter small areas using his dog Akamaru. What the hell kind of balance is that?
Choji's ability is unique only to him, so all you have to do is choose Kiba and Choji, and you'll be able to access the entire game world. It's stupid because it took me so long to figure it out. I was using Neji and Shikamaru all the while. Damn it.
After that my mother wanted to watch TV, so she asked me to use my computer until my father came home. So I went to read the new chapters of Bleach and Naruto manga. Bleach is still about the fight between the Captains and the Espadas. Damn, did they forget about Ichigo's fight? It's getting really boring.
Naruto, on the other hand, was pretty interesting. Konohamaru is now fighting one of the Pains, and over the last few chapters, he's been talking about using the technique Naruto had taught him. And he finally uses the technique. What is it? Look at this picture:
So now there is yet another person in the Naruto series that can use Rasengan. Kakashi, Jiraiya, Naruto, the Fourth Hokage, and Konahamaru can use it. Of course the Fourth, Konohamaru and Kakashi can only use the normal Rasengan, while Jiraiya and Naruto have their own improved versions of the attack.
Naruto can use Odoma Rasengan, which is a bigger version of Rasengan, and Rasen-Shuriken, and now he probably has some super pwnage version that is yet to be revealed because in the manga, he used it to cut an entire forest in half. Jiraiya can use the normal Rasengan, and the Kohan Rasengan, which is the fire Rasengan. Jiraiya froms a Rasengan and he blows fire into it. The wind element in the Rasengan amplifies the power of the fire.
Then we went to Little India to eat dinner, and I started using the computer as soon as I got home. Now I'm going to read One Piece manga. Update: I just watched the most recent Naruto anime episode and it is freakin awesome. Naruto finally manages to land the Rasen-Shuriken on Kakuzu. It was impressive to see the impact of the attack in the manga, and it is even cooler in the anime. I wanted to use a screen capture program to record it, but the audio is screwed up, so I recorded it using my camera. The sound quality is a little bad, I apologize for that. Anyways, check it out, it is awesome:
