Hello. I am deprived of sleep right now. The day started abruptly for me my cousin came to my house and woke me up at 9am. I only slept at 4am earlier this morning. So I only had 5 hours of sleep, which is wrong because I'm supposed to be on holiday.
Alright, today let's do something awesome:

Yeah. Street Fighter IV is already in arcades all over the world, and it is coming to home consoles later this month. Since I'm so in love with doing character guides, I'm going to do one on the characters that will be appearing in Street Fighter IV.
I've got to mention a few things first. First, despite that number four in it's title, Street Fighter IV actually takes place after Street Fighter II but before Street Fighter III, so it is technically the third Street Fighter game in chronological order.
Second, the arcade version features sixteen playable characters, while the home console versions have twenty five playable characters. That means that even if you've played the arcade version, and you know every character in that version, I'll be including others that aren't. These aren't secret characters, they are just home console exclusive.
Now that I've gotten those out of the way, I can begin with my guide.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ryu [Japan]

Ryu is often seen as the main character of the Street Fighter franchise. If you've heard of the name "Street Fighter", you've probably heard of Ryu. Ryu is the best friend and rival of Ken, and both of them are students of Gouken.
Ryu practices an unnamed martial art style, which incorporated the most violent techniques from a blend of four styles of martial arts. Ryu has a one hit
Shōryū-ken and whirlwind kick, and he has the most powerful and concentrated
Hadōken.
Ryu is a nomad, traveling around the world in search of new challengers. He is a solitary warrior and he trains tirelessly for his own betterment. He seeks the true path of the 'true warrior', but doing so has set him in the sights of evil organizations.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ken [USA]

Ken is the best friend and rival of Ryu, and both of them are students of Gouken. Ken practices an unnamed martial art style, which incorporated the most violent techniques from a blend of four styles of martial arts. Ken has a multi hit
Shōryū-ken and whirlwind kick, but his
Hadōken is weaker than Ryu's.
Ken is the leader of the American financial group that was named after him. He has been avoiding fighting for a while because he was trying to start a family with his wife-to-be, so he was hesitant when he is invited back to the ring, but he eventually accepts the challenging after the persuasion of his fiance.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chun-Li [China]

After learning that M.Bison was responsible for her father's death, Chun-Li confronted him but Bison was too powerful and she was defeated. Still intent on having revenge, Chun-Li takes part in the World Warrior tournament as she finds out that Bison is taking part too. She finally earns the right to face him, but Akuma appears and seemingly destroys him.
In Street Fighter IV, Chun-Li is a detective working for the Interpol. With the help of Guile, she hopes to finally be able to find her missing father, and also to investigate rumours of the reemergence of evil organization Shadaloo. Chun-Li is a agile fighter who makes up for her lack of brawn with her speed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E.Honda [Japan]

E.Honda is a sumo wrestler who enters the World Warrior tournament to improve his own skills, as well as to prove to the world that sumo is the among strongest martial art in the world. E.Honda's fighting style makes full use of his weight to deliver traditional sumo moves to his opponents, and he has incorporated speed into several of his attacks as well.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Blanka [Brazil]

When Blanka was a little kid, he was in involved in a plane crash and ended up in the Amazon Rainforest. He was raised by animals in the wilderness and was known as Blanka because of his pale skin color, but his skin soon turned bright green after years of eating plants and living in greenery. Blanka eventually gets reunited with his long lost mother, and he now fights to earn back her respect.
Blanka's fighting style consists of self thought, savage moves which include the use of his sharpened teeth and nails. Blanka has the ability to channel electricity through his body, and transmit it to other objects, enabling him to give his opponents intense electrical shocks.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zangief [Russia]

As the greatest professional wrestler in Soviet Union history, Zangief, who is know as the "Red Cyclone" in the ring, was asked to represent his country in the World Warrior tournament. Zangief is incredibly patriotic and the scars all over his body come from wrestling polar bears in Siberia to train for the tournament. He often uses his hulking build to intimidate his opponents.
In Street Fighter IV, Zangief throws himself into yet another international fight tournament so that he can fulfill the promises he made to a bunch of children who doubted him. Zangief is a close range fighter that uses professional wrestling moves. His moves are hard to pull off, and they are slow, but Zangief has the most damaging moves among all the characters in the game.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gulie [USA]

Guile is soldier in the US Army who wants to take revenge on M.Bison for killing his best friend, Charlie, years ago. When hearing that Shadaloo was reemerging, Guile teamed up with Chun-Li to investigate, as finding Shadaloo would mean finding M.Bison. Guile wears both his and Charlie's dog tags around his neck as a reminder of what has to be done.
Guile's fighting style is a blend of military combat moves, and other moves that he finds useful. Guile can be both offensive and defensive, since his moves are damaging, but do not have any lag time before or after they are done. His two primary special moves are the "Sonic Boom", a projectile-based attack, and the "Somersault Kick" (also known as the "Flash Kick"), an anti-air attack.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dhalsim is a mystical Indian yogi that is reluctant to harm his opponents. Although he prefers a pacifist way of life, Dhalsim has no choice but to fight when his family village is threatened. To save the village, Dhalsim travels the world once more, ready to teach all those responsible a lesson. Dhalsim's intense spiritual training has granted him the abilities to stretch him limbs, levitate, teleport, breathe fire, read minds and sense evil.
Dhalsim is much more a a ranged fighter. While his melee moves are not very damaging, he can hit his opponents over a distance by stretching his limbs, and he can launch fire projectiles out of his mouth. His Super move, Yoga Inferno, is slow and hard to land on an opponent, but if it does make impact it is multi hitting and very damaging.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Balrog [USA]

Balrog's violent tenancies caused him to be expelled from the realm of professional boxing. He teamed up with M.Bison and joined Shadaloo for the money. Balrog served as a bodyguard for M.Bison while in the organisation. Ever since the collapse of Shadaloo, Balrog hasn't been heard of.
Balrog's fighting style utilises boxing moves, as well as several violent moves that are not accepted in professional boxing. He is considered a "charge" fighter, since his special moves do more damage if the buttons are held down longer. Balrog has an extremely damaging Ultra combo, which drains 60% of an opponent's health if landed correctly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vega [Spain]

Vega is a narcissist who values beauty above all else. He joined M.Bison so that he could improve his own aesthetic sense. During battles, his speed and beautifully executed moves cause the opponents to have a hard time trying to concentrate on the fight. Vega hasn't been heard of since the collapse of Shadaloo.
Vega is one of the fastest character in the series, but also one of the characters with the weakest health. He is also the only character to use a weapon. After blocking fourteen hits, Vega will drop his claws, forcing him to deal weaker attacks. Vega can use his speed and flying special moves to confuse the enemy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sagat [Thailand]

Sagat, also know as the "Invincible Tiger", is the king of Muay Thai. His legendary kicks are said to be the most powerful in the world. He was once the undefeated champion of the World Warrior tournament, but his complacency lead to his defeat at the hands of Ryu. During their fight, Ryu accidentally game Sagat the large scar on his chest, and Sagat uses that scar to remind himself that he has to train harder in order to get revenge on Ryu.
Sagat's moves consist fully of kicks. Due to his great height, his legs have a much longer attack range than most other characters. His special moves include the multi-hitting Tiger Blow; Tiger Raid, which produced fire from his kicks; and Tiger Cannon, a move in which Sagat hurls a giant fire ball at his opponent. Sagat has a taunt move that makes him vulnerable when pulled off, but it also makes his next Tiger Blow very damaging.

M.Bison's fighting style consists of brutal killing moves. He makes full use of his flight in a fight, pummelling into his opponents while in mid flight. He also uses his Psycho Power to amplify the damage of his blows. Unlike most other characters, M.Bison attacks at vital parts of the body, including the neck, chest and spine.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Despite his large and goofy appearance, Rufus is the fastest character in Street Fighter IV.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
El Fuerte [Mexico]

El Fuerte divides his time betweem perfecting his lucha libre skills and his cooking abilities. He may be small, but the strength of his spirit is enough to combat the hulking Zangief. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dan's father was killed long ago by Sagat. In order to avenge his father, Dan started training hard, but he ended up not quite on the same level as other fighters. Dan is a joker by nature, and he has a large set of taunts in the game. While Dan has trained alongside Gouken in the past, he uses his own style of martial art.
His moves are mostly weak and slow, and his special moves are parodies of Ken and Ryu's special moves. Dan was created as a joke character, so he is not meant to be used against other characters. However, skilled Street Fighter players often use him as a handicap. Dan seems to have been buffed in Street Fighter IV, making him almost equal to other characters.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

She is now travelling all over the world in search of her idol Ryu, so that she can challenge him to a fight. She is an outgoing girl who will never turn down a fight. She lacks any projectile or long-reaching attacks, and therefore hurls herself at the enemy relying on speed and priority.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rose [Italy]

Rose is a fortune teller who relies on her mastery of Soul Power, an energy that draws its source from her very life force, rather than on physical techniques to vanquish her foes. Rose is actually created from the "good" parts of M.Bison's soul, which are the parts he discarded long ago as he felt that they were useless. Though physically weak, Rose is a capable fighter when employing her Soul Power. Her seemingly-innocuous scarf is actually a weapon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gouken [Unrevealed]

Gouken is the legendary mentor and teacher of Ken and Ryu, and he is the older brother of Akuma. He was thought to have been defeated at the hands of Akuma decades ago, but with Akuma on the move again, Gouken has no choice but to come out of hiding in order to counter his brother. ============================================================================
I went to eat at this place called The Sail at Chinatown Square today. It is a nice place and the food is really good, and the prices are affordable. Now I know where to treat people at when it is their birthday. The place can be quite romantic too. Some photos I took:

I met Yiling at Vivocity and I listened to her complain a whole bunch about JC. After that she treated me to dinner, and she also bought me a magazine. Yiling also showed me how to deposit money into my bank account. She too rich already and she has been depositing money for quite a while now, so she is a pro at doing that.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen: The Video Game
Ghostbusters: The Video Game
Ok I'm done for today. Going to watch Final Fantasy VII Advent Children on my phone now. Thanks for reading. Ending off, see you tomorrow.
