Hello. This is the first post of an epic two part topic. The topic for today is:
A little history of Kingdom Hearts first. Kingdom Hearts is a series that made its debut on the Playstation 2. When it was launch, it created on the huge impact on the gaming society as it was one of the first Japanese games that actually suited the taste of Western gamers.
Ever since, there has been a sequel on the same platform, a game on the Gameboy Advance, a game on the Nintendo DS and an upcoming game for the PSP. The inevitable Kingdom Hearts 3 will be revealed soon, possibly during E3 this year, for the PS3, and there are strong signs that it might be on the Xbox 360 as well.
The Kingdom Hearts series features its own set of unique characters, but it also features Disney and Final Fantasy characters. With so many different characters, it can get a bit confusing, so I'm writing this guide to clear any doubts you might have about the characters. I'm doing the guide for the main protagonists of the series today.

Sora is the hero of majority of the Kingdom Hearts games. He is fourteen years old at the start of the series. In the original Kingdom Hearts, Sora journeys with Donald and Goofy in search of his close friends Kairi and Riku, as they were all separated when Heartless, the main enemies in the game, attacked the island they lived on. Sora is chosen over Riku to weild the Keyblade, since Sora chose the path of Light while Riku let Darkness swallow him. Sora wields its great power to conquer his foes.
In the game Chain of Memories, Sora, Donald, and Goofy are put under a spell by Naminé, where they fall asleep for one year and lose all memories of what happened in Castle Oblivion. In the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II, Sora wakes up to no recollection of why he fell asleep to begin with.
Sora seems to be madly in love with Kairi [who wouldn't be], but he apparently lacks the balls to admit it. So they will remain as friends and virgins for ever.

Donald is the Royal Court Magician of Disney Castle. He is extremely loyal to King Mickey, so he and Goofy embark on a journey to find King Mickey when he goes missing. During their quest they meet Sora. While Donald initially only cares about Sora as an asset to track down King Mickey, he eventually grows to deeply care for him as a friend.
At the end of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, he, Sora, and Goofy are put to sleep for a year while their memories are fixed by Naminé. In Kingdom Hearts II, he awakens with his friends and continues to fight the Heartless along with the Nobodies and Organization XIII.

Goofy is the captain of the Royal Knights of Disney Castle and the second of Sora's two sidekicks throughout the series. Under the king’s orders, he accompanies Donald on the quest to find the key.
In Kingdom Hearts, he and Donald embark on a journey to carry out the missing king’s orders to follow the Keyblade wielder. Goofy is one of Sora's two companions who go with him to every world.
At the end of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, he, Sora, and Donald are put to sleep for a year while their memories are fixed by Naminé. In Kingdom Hearts II, he awakens with his friends and continues to fight the Heartless along with the Nobodies and Organization XIII.

Kairi is a friend of Sora and Riku, and one of the seven "Princess of Heart"[a group made up of Kairi and the six Disney princesses]. She was used to live in the Radiant Garden, but she was sent to the Destiny Islands by Xehanort a few years before the events of Kingdom Hearts in a experiment to see the connection between a Princess of Heart and a Keyblade bearer.
In the first game, her heart is separated from her body and enters Sora's. In order to revive her, Sora gives up his heart [so romantic] and becomes a nobody and creates Roxas in the process. Kairi is able to restore Sora to his human form, and as the worlds are reforming, Kairi is separated from Sora, as she waits for his return on Destiny Island.
Due to the powers of Naminé, Kairi loses her memories of Sora, but as he starts to awaken from his sleep, Kairi begins to remember.

Riku is Sora and Kairi's best friend. Under the influence of Maleficent, Riku turns on Sora, and embraces the darkness to aide him in his search for Kairi. Eventually, he becomes overtaken by Xenahort's Heartless, and Riku's Heart is sent to the realm of Darkness.
In Chain of Memories, he confronts the Darkness in his heart. Riku finds balance between the light and darkness in his heart, and later dons the Organizations atire to capture Roxas to make Sora complete again. In doing so, he uses his dark powers which cause him to take on the physical appearance of Xenahort's heartless.
Riku can be controlled during the last few boss fights of Kingdom Hearts II, and he is quite a rapist.

King Mickey is the ruler of Disney Castle. Not much is known on what his motives are but will be further explored in the upcoming games Kingdom Hearts Coded, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.
In the aftermath of Xenahort's defeat, Mickey returns to his world, only to go on another adventure in the events of mobile game Kingdom Hearts coded, revealing his side of the story during the events of the first Kingdom Hearts game. His past story will be further explored in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
Formerly respected sage and ruler of Radiant Garden. Ansem was studying the heart with his apprentices. Ansem's apprectices betrayed him and banished him to the world of nothing, where he takes on the name "DiZ" and acronym meaning "darkness in zero".
In Chain Of Memories, he aids Riku in all his endeavors in Castle Oblivion. DiZ transports Naminé and Sora into the basement of his manor so Sora can be restored. After learning that Naminé can not stabilize Sora's memories, he sends Riku to capture Roxas to aid in Soras restoration.

Naminé has the ability to change or erase the memories of Sora and those close to him by rearranging them and creating new links between them, and is called a witch by many, including herself, because of it.
Naminé first appears in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, being held hostage by Organization XIII. Under orders from the Organization, she alters Sora's memories to remember her as a close friend from Destiny Islands, and eventually replacing Kairi. She almost completes her task until Axel allows her to leave his sight.
Naminé manages to reveal herself and the truth to Sora. Once Marluxia is defeated, Naminé has Sora, Donald, and Goofy step into devices that will put them to sleep for a year so she can rearrange the chains of their memories, but break the ones that she created. As a result, Sora's memories of Naminé will be erased.
Naminé also helps save Riku in Reverse/Rebirth from Zexion by taking on Kairi's appearance to convince Riku not to refuse the darkness within his heart while drowning in light. When they meet in person, she offers to lock away the darkness of his heart so that it can never hurt him again, but he refuses the offer, opting to battle the darkness himself. Afterwards, she contacts DiZ to help protect Sora, Donald and Goofy until they awaken.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Naminé is revealed to be a "special Nobody" born from Kairi's heart when it left Sora's body. As Kairi had no darkness in her heart, her heart hid within Sora's body instead of becoming a Heartless when Destiny Islands was consumed by darkness. When Sora impaled himself with the dark Keyblade, his body and soul were used to create not only Roxas, but Naminé as well.
As a result of this, she has none of Kairi's memories. Naminé's special birth in conjunction with the fact that Kairi's heart had been in direct contact with Sora's is why, DiZ states, that Naminé's special powers could only affect the memories of Sora and those whose hearts are connected to his, which was why she was used by Organization XIII.
Despite DiZ's orders, Naminé visits Roxas in Twilight Town. She appears to him several times, often before he is attacked by Nobodies, acting somewhat as a guide to him. Riku is instructed by DiZ to destroy Naminé since he has no more need of her.
However, as seen in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+, Riku decides to let her go with Axel to repay the favor to her for Castle Oblivion. She is not seen again until near the end of the game where she frees Kairi and Pluto from imprisonment and they attempt to escape from the Organization's stronghold. After meeting with Roxas once more through Sora after Xemnas's apparent defeat, she fuses with Kairi to complete her.

Roxas is Sora's Nobody, and he was created when Sora briefly became a Heartless in the original Kingdom Hearts. He was first featured at the end of Riku's ending in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and is playable in the beginning portion of Kingdom Hearts II. Roxas joined Organization XIII when he was found by Xemnas in Twilight Town, giving him his name.
Unlike the other Organization members, he lacks memories of his previous life, presumably because Sora's time as a Heartless was very brief. During Roxas's time in the Organization, he and Axel became friends, but Roxas leaves to find answers as to why he possesses the Keyblade.
After leaving, he was confronted by Riku who defeated him to have Roxas rejoin with Sora. Roxas's story from his birth to his departure from the Organization will be further explored in the upcoming Nintendo DS game, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

I went to meet Say Yin and Angie at Suntec today. I was just lazing around at home when they invited me there, so I went. I met them at Starbucks. Yan Ming was there as well for some reason. We just slacked around there for a while, when Say Yin and Yan Ming went to eat.
After that Yan Ming had to go to Pepper Lunch for work, so the three of us walked to the MRT station. Say Yin went to church and I to Aljunied with Angie. We ate [budget :D] dinner, then I followed Angie to her Soka rehearsal. The people there explained things to me, and I also got to watch them chant. I left half way because I had to be home by 9pm.
A while ago I mentioned that Angie said that I looked like Nicholas Tse. That is wrong. The person I actually look like is 林峰, who looks like this:
According to Angie, I really look like him. And according to Angie, he is so shuai :D That is cool.
