Hello. Time for the concluding second part of the Kingdom Hearts topic. Yesterday I introduced all the main protagonists of the series, so now it's time to do a guide for the antagonists. The main villains in the Kingdom Hearts series can be divided into two groups, Organization XIII and the Disney villains. Since there is nothing particularly interesting about the Disney villains, I'll be focusing on Organization XIII.
Organization XIII is the main evil group of the Kingdom Hearts series. It contains of 13 Heartless, which are people without hearts obviously. Also, the name of the group is obviously derived from the number of people within it. A fourteenth character, a woman named Xion, will be revealed in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, which will be on the Nintendo DS.

XEMNAS

Name: Xemnas
Title: Organization members call him "Superior"
Weapon: Ariel Blades
Abilities: Controls Sorcerer Nobodies; Manipulates nothingness to phase through solid matter; Manifests energy based shields and projectiles.
History: Xemnas is the Nobody of Xehanort. He is the leader of Organization XIII and the main antagonist of Kingdom Hearts II. He has been a Nobody for nine years, so he does not have any emotions, neither does he remember how emotions feel like.
Unlike other Organization members, he does not want to use Kingdom Hearts to find his true existence, instead he wants to use it to obtain power and rule the universe. His plot to conquer Kingdom Hearts is ruined when Ansem the Wise's machine, which was supposed to digitally contain Kingdom Heart's power, exploded and created a huge hole in Kingdom Hearts.
This hole caused many hearts to rain down on the Heartless, and many managed to gain back their hearts. With the power of Kingdom Hearts severely reduced, Xenmas uses all the remaining power to gain a new form, and he fights Sora, Riku and King Mickey in that form. He is eventually defeated and he appears to have been engulfed by Darkness.

XIGBAR

Name: Xigbar
Title: The Freeshooter
Weapon: Gun Arrows
Ability: Manipulates space to teleport himself, warp his bullets, and levitate upside down.
History: Xibar is only revealed in Kingdom Hearts II. He first appears before Sora in Hollow Bastion, and once more in the Land of Dragons, although he never takes of his hood until the final meeting.
During that meeting, Xigbar confuses Sora by call him Roxas, and he cryptically reveals Sora's predecessors. He fights Sora's party and is defeated, but he refuses to answer Sora's questions after he loses.

XALDIN

Name: Xaldin
Title: The Whirlwind Lancer
Weapon: Six lances
Abilities: Uses wind to manipulate his lances, and to shield himself; His lances can transform into a dragon shape contraption and attack enemies with whirlwinds; Controls lance wielding Dragoon Nobodies.
History: Xaldin is only revealed in Kingdom Hearts II. Sora meets Xaldin at Beast's castle [you know, the Beast from "Beauty and the Beast"]. Xaldin manipulates Beast's rage in such a powerful way that a powerful Nobody and Heartless can be created from it.
Sora interferes with Xaldin's plan, so he steals Beast's mystical rose to further enrage Beast. He then kidnaps Belle, and he forces Beast to decide whether the rose or Belle is more important to him. His plan fails when Belle steals the rose and escapes, and Xaldin then falls against combined power of Sora and Beast.

VEXEN

Name: Vexen
Title: The Chilly Academic
Weapons: Ice blade, Kite Shield
Abilities: Controls Ice; Kite Shield blocks all frontal attacks; Able to generate ice blades via the Kite Shield.
History: Vexen is a scientist who is first introduced in Kingdom Hearts: Chains of Memories. He challenges Riku to gather data of his fighting style, then he uses this data to create a replica of Riku. After the replica fails to defeat Sora, Vexen himself challenges Sora. He provokes Sora by making him belive that he was controlling the original Riku, not a replica.
During their fight, Vexen gives Sora the card to Twilight Town, with the intention of revealing Roxas' existence to Sora. Marluxia considers him a traitor for doing this, and sends Axel to kill Vexen. After Vexen is defeated by Sora, he is about to reveal Marluxia's plot when Axel appears and silences him.

LEXAEUS

Name: Lexaeus
Title: The Silent Hero
Weapon: Tomahawk
Abilities: Able to break rocks and shake the Earth itself with Earth based powers and his own superhuman strength.
History: Laxaeus is first revealed in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and he is one of the two Organization members that only appear in Riku's story. When he, Vexen and Zexion find out about Marluxia's plot to capture and manipulate Sora to overthrow the Organization, they decide to counter Marluxia by doing the same to Riku.
When it becomes dangerously apparent that Marluxia might capture Sora, Laxaeus confronts Riku himself in an desperate attempt to convince Riku to open himself up to the darkness in his heart. Riku fights Laxaeus instead, and he defeats Laxaeus.
With his final bit of strength, Laxaeus then unleashes all the darkness within him in hopes of overwhelming and consuming Riku, but King Mickey arrives and he prevents it from happening. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories alters Laxaeus' death. He is killed when Xehanort's Heartless possesses Riku, and Riku kills Laxaeus in one blow.

ZEXION

Name: Zexion
Title: The Cloaked Schemer
Weapon: Lexicon
Abilities: Able to mimic and wield the weapons of others; Able to disguise himself as others, Able to create multiple clones of himself.
History: Zexion is first revealed in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He plans to use Riku to counter Marluxia. However, after Sora deals with Marluxia, Zexion sees Riku as of no use, and he attempts to destroy Riku in his own way.
Zexion places Riku in illusion of Destiny Island, and he blames Riku for its destruction. He then disguises himself as Sora and attacks Riku, telling him that he is a pawn of darkness. Riku is almost lost when Naminé appears in Kairi's form, and she helps Riku to accept both darkness and light. Riku then fights Zexion and causes him to flee after wounding him.
Afterwards, Axel brings Riku's replica to a shocked Zexion. Axel convinces the replica that by killing Zexion, it will be able to become a real person. The replica then kills Zexion.

SAIX

Name: Saïx
Title: The Luna Divinier
Weapon: Berserker Claymore
Abilities: Draws power from the moon; Controls Beserker Nobodies which weild weapons similar to his own; His weapon has a Beserk mode.
History: Saïx is first revealed in Kingdom Hearts II. Sora first appears to warn Sora about Axel's plan to capture him, then he appears again to explain to Sora his purpose in the Organization's plans. Saïx refuses Sora's request to meet Kairi, who was kidnapped [and presumably raped] by Saïx.
Later on Naminé helps Kairi escape, Saïx attempts to deal with the two, but he retreats when Riku arrives in the guise of Xehanort's Heartless. Xemnas soon gives Saïx permission to destroy Sora and his friends. While Saïx appears calm, he shows his true nature when he goes beserk during the battle. After Sora defeats him, he dies while pining for Kingdom Hearts to give him his Heart.

AXEL

Name: Axel
Title: Flurry of Dancing Flames
Weapon: Dual Chakram
Abilities: Able to manipulate fire.
History: Axel was first revealed in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He pretends to join Larxene and Marluxia on their plan to take over the Organization, and he even kills Vexen to gain their trust. Axel soon confronts Marluxia to destroy him, but he uses Naminé as a shield. Axel is prepared to go through her when Sora appears. Marluxia disappears with Naminé, leaving Axel to fight Sora.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Axel appears in Twilight Town to rescue Roxas. It is revealed that the two of them are best friends, and Axel persuades Roxas to join the Organization because he fears what Xemnas might do to Roxas if he does not. Despite his efforts, Roxas eventually merges with Sora.
He kidnaps Kairi to lure Sora to him. Kairi escapes later on with the aid of Pluto, but she gets captured by Saïx. Axel later appears once more in Hollow Bastion. While he refuses to reveal the Organization's true plans to Sora, he apologizes to Kairi for getting her involved. Later on, Axel meets Sora again, and he helps Sora fight off a large group of Nobodies.
When the number of Nobodies start of overwhelm them, Axel uses a final, suicidal attack to save Sora. Sora stays with Axel until he dies. As Axel fades away, he apologizes for all the trouble he caused Sora and his friends, and he explains to Sora that he helped him because he wanted to see his friend Roxas again. Roxas made Axel feel as though he had a heart, and Sora made him feel the same way.

DEMYX

Name: Demyx
Title: The Melodious Nocturne
Weapon: Sitar
Abilities: Able to manipulate water using the sound produced by his sitar.
History: Demyx is first revealed in Kingdom Hearts II. He attempts to talk to Roxas through Sora, but when that doesn't work, he attacks Sora. He attacks them once more at Hollow Bastion. He constantly mocks them there, but once they mock him back, Demyx gets irritated and he fights Sora seriously. He is eventually defeated and he fades into the darkness.

LUXORD

Name: Luxord
Title: Gambler of Fate
Weapon: Deck of Cards
Abilities: Controls Gambler Nobodies; Able to trap some one within a card or die; Able to control time; His card deck can be use as a weapon, as a defensive barrier, and as a place for hiding.
History: Luxord is first revealed in Kingdom Hearts II. He first confronts Sora at Port Royal, and he manipulates the powerful Grim Reaper Heartless to attack them. He makes the Grim Reaper curse Captain Jack Sparrow, and Sora defeats the Grim Reaper in order to free him from the curse. Luxord later traps Sora in a card with himself, so that they can have a one on one battle. After he loses, Luxord fades into the darkness.

MARLUXIA

Name: Marluxia
Title: The Graceful Assassin
Weapon: Scythe
Abilities: Controls flowers that are sharp enough to cut.
History: Marluxis is first revealed in Kindom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He and Larxene plan to use Sora to take over the Organization. When Axel confronts him, Marluxia uses Naminé to prevent Axel from attacking, and he makes Axel fight Sora instead. After Axel's defeat, he orders Naminé to erase Sora's memories.
Eventually Sora gains back his memories and fights what he thinks to be the real Marluxia, but he later finds out that it is an illusion. Sora later finds the true Marluxia, in a different form, and the two fight. Sora destroys him and uses the Keyblade to permanently seal the room which they fought in.

LARXENE

Name: Larxene
Title: The Savage Nymph
Weapon: Eight knives, four weilded in each hand.
Abilities: Larxene is said to have control over thunder on Wikipedia, but what she really uses is lighting bolts. Seriously, people still don't know the difference between thunder and lightning? She is also the most agile member of Organization XIII
History: Larxene is first revealed in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. She first appears before Sora in a playful manner, but later on, this player manner disappears when she decides to kill him. After defeating the Riku replica for the thrid time, a badly wounded Sora meets Naminé and he tries to find out the truth, but Larxene appears and prevents it from happening.
She kicks Sora in the chest, badly injuring him in the process, and slaps Naminé across the face when she tries to help Sora. Larxene finally decides that Sora knows too much to be allowed to live, and she is prepared to kill him when Goofy and Donald, who had been separated from Sora, appear and Donald heals Sora's wounds. With their combined strenght, they defeat Larxene, and she fades into the darkness.
Larxene was thought to be the only female member of Organization XIII until Xion was revealed last year.

ROXAS

Name: Roxas
Title: Key of Destiny
Weapon: "Oathkeeper" and "Oblivion" Keyblades, which represent Sora's memories of Kairi and Riku respectively.
Abilities: Controls Samurai Nobodies.
History: Read it on yesterday's post. I'm too lazy to type. Roxas was originally taken to join the Organiziton by Xemnas, but he left to find out why he posesses the Keyblade, as well as to try to find his original self. At the end of Kingdom Hearts II, he and Naminé are both fully merged with Sora and Kairi, as the ending cinematic of the game shows them smiling at each other through Sora and Kairi.
Roxas' back story will be further explored in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.

XION

Title: Unrevealed
Weapon: Keyblade, but Riku believes it to be a fake.
Abilities: Unrevealed
History: Xion is the newest Organization member, and she was only revealed late last year. She is a dark haired girl who appears to be good friends with Axel and Roxas, as they are seen in screenshots hanging out in Destiny Island and eating ice cream together in Twilight Town.
According the Axel's dialog, Xion appears to be a reluctant member of Organization XIII. She is also said to have a connection with Kairi and Naminé. A screenshot showing Riku cradling and pained Xion in his arms was revealed, indicating that she will probably suffer a tragic fate.
Damn, must everyone die, and why must it always been in an emo way? Xion's story and abilities will further be revealed in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.

I noticed that I never really mentioned Sora's Drives. Drive mode is basically a more powerful mode that Sora can go into. Each of these modes usually focus on one aspect only. When Sora uses Drive, Donald or Goofy will fuse with him, so they will temporarily disappear from the battlefield. More powerful Drive modes will cause both of them to disappear. Here is a videos of Drive:
*Note* Drives can been recognized by the colour of Sora's clothes. Red=Valor; Blue=Wisdom; Yellow=Master; White=Final. There is a new drive called Limit Drive that is only available in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and if you get hit by an enemy while performing a Drive, Sora will go into Anti Drive.
And that concludes the topic Kingdom Hearts. I have not completed any Kingdom Hearts game before, but I have played quite a lot of Kingdom Hearts II. If you happen to have a PS2, you should try this game out. Even if you have a PS3, Kingdom Hearts will probably be on the backwards compatibility list, so try it out.

I took part in the Thaipusam walk early this morning, and I got back home at 4am and slept until 1pm. My feet and arms hurt because I was walking barefoot on the road for like 4km, and I was holding a 3kg pot of milk with one hand and sms-ing with the other for most of the walk. Still, I went to play basketball with Say Yin, Sebastian, Nicholas, Yan Ming and Yeow Boon in the afternoon. Then I came home and didn't really do anything else.
