Hello. The topic for today is:
I am seriously psyched to go to school. Why? Read on to find out.
Today, we made an extraordinary discovery. Before I get to that, a little explanation to get you up to date. Basically there's a local blogger called Jocelyn. Angie showed me her BLOG a few days ago. And I showed it to Say Yin and Andrew.
We all knew that she was in a poly, but no one knew her age, or the poly she was going to. Until last night. Andrew told us that she was from Temasek Poly. I didn't believe him at first, but after a little research, he found out that she was 18 years old this year, and she was really from Temasek Poly, as proved by this picture:
We win. Big time.So there you go, one reason why I am looking forward to the start of school. What's more, Jocelyn is also in the Business faculty of the school, meaning I can see her almost everyday :D For two years!! We picked the right poly to go to.

Secondly, the campus is cool. Not only is it huge, it also has tons of facilities. There's the 11 story tall library, retail shops, a student lounge, 2 jamming studios, 2 dance studios, a beach volleyball court, a cricket pitch, 2 BBQ pits, 3 swimming pools, an adventure learning course, a food court, 5 canteens, a restaurant, a Cheers convenience store, and access to Bedok reservoir.
There is also the sports complex which contains a track and field stadium, a rock wall, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor volleyball/netball courts, 1 outdoor netball court, 1 indoor basketball court, 2 outdoor basketball courts, 8 indoor badminton/4 sepak takraw courts, 2 squash courts, 8 tennis courts, a multi purpose court, a football/rugby pitch, 2 outdoor street soccer courts, a gym, a rock gym, and a fitness station. Sexy.

My course is also quite cool. Not only will I finally be able to do what I'm actually interested in, my course seniors are also quite crazy, as you can see from this video:
Also, my course will give me chances to cover gigs, concerts, and other special events. Maybe I can volunteer to cover some game related event, like X09 or GCA 09. Then I will be putting both my English skill and game knowledge to good use. And I can look at the booth babes at the same time.
My course is also going to help me get things that I have been wanting for quite a while. It is recommended that I get a laptop, since my course requires a lot of typing. And according to my sister's friend's sister, who is a second year in my course, I will also need a good camera. Two items off my wish list just like that.

Lack of rules. Dye you hair, keep it as long as you want, wear what ever you want in the school, skip lectures, they don't really care. This is good not only because you will get a whole lot more freedom, but also because it will make you a more responsible person. Just because lecturers are not going to come after you if you skip lectures, doesn't mean you actually skip them everyday.

Girls!! After being in an all boys school for 4 years, you have no idea how it feels like to finally go to a school with girls in it. Unless you are also from an all boys school. If you have been in an all boys school for 10 years of your life, then you must seriously be jumping for joy right now.

This is called canoepolo. It's the same as water polo, just that you are in a canoe. You hit the ball with your pedal. I wonder if anyone ever gets hit by some one else's pedal.=============================================================================
Didn't do much today. I was having a conversation with Andrew on msn during the night. We found something interesting on Jocelyn's blog. If you have a wide screen monitor, this is mostly not going to work.
Look at the image, and try to decipher it. If you can't the pull the corners of your eyes. So if you actually didn't figure it out on your first try, good for you, and if you did, then :D.
Of course both me and Andrew didn't managed to get it on the first attempt. After we actually figured it out, I wanted to see if it really worked. So now I am going to be a Mythbuster. After actually getting some, I'm going to try to read something similar, but with a different message. Then I can tell you if the myth is buster or not.
This whole experiment won't take to long. In fact, it will probably conclude one day after our orientation is over :D I'm just kidding!! Or am I?? Muahahaha.
