Hello. The topic of today is:
Yesterday I did a guide to Dante and his weapons, so I'm going to be doing one for Nero and several other characters today.

NERO

There are four Devil May Cry games, and Dante is in all of them, but he is only the main character in three of them. In Devil May Cry 4, a new protagonist was reveled. Nero not only resembled both Dante and Vergil, he also sounded like and talked the same way as them.
Nero is part of the Order of the Sword, which is a group of warriors who worship Sparda. Nero has a huge ego and he often over estimates his own capabilities. During one of the worship sessions, Dante interrupts and kills their leader, Sanctus.
It is due to this that Nero first sees Dante as an enemy, and he attacks Dante. Of course, Dante doesn't take the fight seriously and he eventually leaves the area after taunting Nero for a while. Nero later comes to realise that things aren't what they seem, and he allies himself with Dante to take down a great evil.
Nero doesn't have nearly as much firepower as Dante, but his weapons still pack quite a punch. Nero has a sword called Red Queen. It is a double edged sword that has a motorcycle handle. When Nero revs up on the handle, a flammable red liquid is pumped into the blade. It will then be released onto the enemy and the sparks created by the blade will ignite it.
Nero's firearm is called Blue Rose. It is a double barreled handgun, with one barrel on the top and the other underneath. Although Blue Rose is said to be a revolver, I find that it fires more like a shotgun. The shots are slow but painful. Nero can charge Blue Rose with demonic energy and do a powerful burst shot attack, and he can also bathe his bullets with the same flammable liquid in his sword, causing small explosions when the bullets hit enemies.
Nero is a human being, but his right arm is enchanted with demonic power. It is called the Devil Bringer. When Nero attacks using the Devil Bringer, a huge spirit arm will appear to damage enemies. Nero can use this arm to grab enemies and pull himself towards them, or vice versa. It can also be used as a grappling hook for Nero to get to hard to reach areas.
Nero, just like Dante, also has a Devil Trigger. However, while Dante changes into a demon upon using Devil Trigger, Nero remains as his human self. Instead, his eyes glow red, his voice changes and a giant spirit will hover above him. The spirit's actions will mimic Nero's actions. The spirit resembles a samurai, and it wields Vergil's sword Yamato. It can also launch shurikens at opponents.

KYRIE

Kyrie is Nero's love interest in the game. She is the typical damsel in distress character that you see in many video games. She gets abducted, Nero goes to a whole lot of crap to rescue her, after everything is over, Nero is still in love with her although she is the one who caused everything.
While Kyrie does actually play a part in the story of Devil May Cry 4, she doesn't really do much else. I think she was put into the game for the sex appeal. Yes, she has a pretty face, but she is wearing way to much clothes in my opinion. They should have made her wear less, and they would have sold a million copies more.

AGNUS

Agnus is a scientist in the Order of the Sword. He believes that mankind should initiate their own evolution, so he is constant conducting secret experiments in his underground lair. After various experiments on himself, he is finally able to fuse himself with demonic energy, and he gains the ability to transform into a moth-like creature, although he sees himself as an angel.
When Nero accidentally stumbles into Agnus' lab, he is shocked to find out that Agnus has been using the shattered remains of Yamato to open portals all over the city for the Order. Stunned by the fact that the Order is behind the demon attacks, Nero tries to question Agnus.
However, Agnus decides that Nero has seen too much and he attempts to kill Nero. Nero fights Agnus, but he gets overpowered by Agnus' demon form and Agnus' small army of demons. He gets badly wounded and is about to pass out when he suddenly remembers Kyrie.
A new strength fills Nero and overwhelms him, and he unleashes his Devil Trigger. In the presence of this new energy, Yamato repairs itself, and Nero wields it. Agnus doesn't stand a chance against Nero and he flees just as Nero causes the whole lab to blow up.
Agnus later uses Yamato to summon a huge portal and demons flood the city. The Savior, a gigantic statue which is controlled by Santus, is also awakened. Dante fights Agnus to get back Yamato, and Agnus over estimates himself. He is defeated, and Dante kills Agnus with a bullet to the brain.

CREDO

Credo is the brother of Kyrie, and a good friend of Nero. He is extremely loyal to the Order, and he would give his life to protect their leader, Sanctus. Due to this, he is manipulated by Sanctus. He allows Agnus to conduct experiments on his body, causing him to obtain demonic powers as well.
He eventually faces Nero, and upon seeing Credo transform into a angle-like demon, Nero is disappointed and he stops Credo before he can further hurt himself. However, Kyrie sees Nero standing over Credo after their fight, and she thinks that Nero killed Credo. Agnus makes use of the confusion to kidnap Kyrie.
Credo later abandons his faith and returns to rescue Nero and Kyrie from Sanctus. However, in an attempt to protect Nero, Sanctus impales him with Sparda's sword. Dante and Trish come to the rescue, but it was already too late for Credo.

SANCTUS

Sanctus is the leader of the Order of the Sword. Corrupted by his thirst for power, Sanctus allows demonic energy to be introduced to his body, and he seeks out the sword of Sparda. He creates a plan to summon demons into the city, then he controls the Savior, which is a gigantic statue, and uses it to destroy the demons. This is so that he will be seen as the good guy by everyone.
Towards the end of the game, Sanctus is full of demonic energy, and his body and face transform to the point where he doesn't look human any longer. In this form, Sanctus can levitate, deflect attacks, summon bolts of lightning, and he can use Sparda to create massive shock waves. Nero eventually defeats him and rescues Kyrie, who was trapped within the Savior.

TRISH

Trish is a demon who resembles Dante's mother. She was originally working for an evil demon called Mundus, but after Dante defeated him, she joined Dante. She makes up one third of Dante's demon hunting company, Devil May Cry. Trish uses dual handguns.

LADY
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lady is the daughter of a twisted scholar named Arkham. After a failed attempt to become a demon, the enraged Arkham killed Lady's mother. Lady seeks revenge, and she attacks Dante by accident when they first meet.
After finally settling this with her father, Lady joins Trish and Dante in Devil May Cry, since she has no longer has anything to do. Lady uses as rocket launcher with a grappling hook called Kalina Ann, which is named after her mother.

I went to play basketball today with Say Yin, Andrew, Yeow Boon, Ethel and Glenn. Sebastian dropped by for a while to watch us play. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to play at my best. The only time I ever did was at Tiong Bahru CC, then it never happened again D:
Say Yin told me something interesting. There are these five forms of sex related sins, namely adultery, homosexuality, fornication, incest and beastiality. Say Yin thinks that each of us [us being me, Andrew, Say Yin, Sebastian and Yeow Boon] represents one of these. And guess what? I am fornication!!? Hmm, I wonder why :D
