Hello. The topic for today is:
Yeah, I am being lazy again. Ninja Warrior has been shown on Channel 5 for quite a while now. It is on every Wednesday at 8pm. I only recently started watching it, but I already feel that it is one of the best things on TV.
Sure, some may find it pointless to watch a hundred different contestants make their way through several tough obstacle courses, but it is worth it when some one fails. I know it's mean to laugh at people and all, but some of the stuff that happens is hilarious.
The competition is considered one of the most physically demanding challenges of all time, and less than ten people have actually managed to complete all four stages. To complete the first three stages, you have to make it across obstacle courses, of increasing difficulty, without any part of your body touching the water below.
As for the final stage, competitors have 30 seconds to scale a tall metal structure. The method of climbing changes every five meters or so. For example, for the first five meters, you may have to use a rope to climb, but for the next, you have to use several platforms to pull yourself up.
I could write about all the different obstacles and stuff, but I'm too lazy, so I'll just write about five of them.
Downhill Jump: The competitor must slide down a track standing on an object similar to a snowboard, then jump to a rope on a track, which then swings towards a mat which the competitor must jump onto.
Warped Wall: The competitor must scale a concave quarter-pipe 5 meters high by running up and grabbing the top of the wall.
Wall Lift: Three walls block the competitor, who must lift and cross under them to advance. Initially, the walls were 20kg, 30kg, 40kg. Later, they were increased to 30kg, 40kg and 50kg.
Brick Climb: The competitor must climb a wall with bricks protruding from it. The only grips and footholds for them are these bricks. The wall is approximately 3.5 meters high. No photo for this.
Curtain Cling: The competitor must grapple across a hanging curtain 5.4 meters wide to reach the other side. There are no hole for them to grab onto, so they can only rely on their own grip to prevent themselves from falling. The curtain is about 3m in height. No photo for this.

I didn't do much today. I had McDonald's for breakfast. Thank you for that :D Just slacked for the rest of the day, then I went to my grandparents' house in the evening to celebrate my cousin's birthday there.
We just slacked and talked there. I had fun talking to my uncle and auntie. They are so much more modern than my parents. My parents weren't too sure about booking the chalet for my birthday, then my uncle was like, "go ahead, book it. We will come, but don't worry, we will all leave by 9pm." How cool is that?
I found out that my auntie was from Tampines JC. I was asking them if TPJC was in between Temasek Poly and Tampines MRT, so that maybe I could meet Yiling after her school ends, so that I have some one to talk to on the way home.
That is, if I can get her to forgive me first.
Anyways, but auntie was asking me why I wanted to know where TPJC was, then my mother went to tell her that I knew "some babe" in there. Ok. Then my auntie said that she was from TPJC as well, then she was like, "TPJC girls are hot right?" lol.
After that, we just cut the cake that my mother baked, and we slacked for a while more, then everyone left. I used my computer once I got home and I started reading more Watchmen. I also talked to Kimberlyn on msn :D
