Hello. The topic for today is:
The Watchmen series has a lot of main characters, and all these characters were transferred from the pages of the comic book to the big screen when the movie was released. While most of them stayed true to how they looked like in the comics, not every one made an accurate transition.
I've been comparing how the characters look like in the comic compared to how they look like in the movie. Some characters are almost exactly identical in both comic and movie, but some are very different. Here are how accurately each character was portrayed in the movie.

THE COMEDIAN

Comic: The Comedian is more of a mercenary than a hero, so his suit is designed with functionality in mind. In the comics, he wears a combat attire made of black leather, and several other pads for extra defense, and he wears a domino mask.
His suit has the same colour scheme and design as the American flag, since he is working for the American government. He is always seen wearing his iconic smiley face badge, which over the years, has become his symbol.
Movie: The Comedian has one of the most comic-accurate looks in the movie. Sure, the actor playing him may seem too young, and the blood splatter on his badge may be shaped wrongly, but most of his suit looks just like the one in the comic.
How accurate: A-

RORSCHACH

Comic: Rorschach honours his namesake with a mask that features a constantly moving, perfectly symmetrical pattern of black ink. He wears a hat, a trench coat, and striped purple pants. In other words, not the kind of man you might glance twice at. At least, not until he puts his face on and begins demolishing things.
Movie: In the movie, Rorschach's clothes look pretty much the same as in the comic, but it's his mask that is the problem. In the comic, the mask is described as two semi-translucent sheets with a constantly moving layer of ink in between them. In the movie, the mask just looks like a stained piece of cloth. At least the blots move.
How accurate: B+

NITE OWL II

Comic: Nite Owl II wears a heavily padded bodysuit that consists of tones of grey and brown. He wears a cape, and a long mask which drapes down to his body. He also wears a pair of technologically advanced goggles, and he has a large variety of gadgets strapped to his belt.
Movie: Nite Owl II wears a much sleeker suit, and his bulky headgear has been reduced to a simpler helmet. In the comic, Nite Owl II is a middle aged person who has gotten flabby. In the movie, Nite Owl II looks the age, but his physique, albeit a little large, still looks fit.
How accurate: C

DR. MANHATTAN

Comic: Dr. Manhattan is a blue skinned, hairless man with a slightly radioactive glow and the symbol of an hydrogen atom etched onto his forehead. He wore clothes at first, but as time progressed, Dr. Manhattan stopped doing so as he didn't see the point in wearing them.
Movie: Dr. Manhattan is the character which translated the most accurately from the comic to the movie. The movie version may seem a little too muscular, and he may be glowing a little too brightly, but he definitely looks like Dr. Manhattan.

SILK SPECTRE II

Comic: The original Silk Spectre was more of a pin up model than a costumed avenger, so she wore little clothes. Her daughter, Silk Spectre II, tried to take the job a little more seriously, but some elements of the original costume remained. Silk Spectre II wears a yellow blouse which covers a skimpy black undergarment.
Movie: The suit worn by Silk Spectre II is constructed out of a flat, latex like material. Not only does it look uncomfortable, it seems to have overlooked one of the original purposes of the skimpy costume form the comic. The suit is meant to be a distraction as well. I cannot imagine anyone being distracted by the suit from the movie.
How accurate: D

OZYMANDIAS

Comic: Ozymandias is a prime physical specimen of a human being. He has chiseled good looks, flowing blond hair, and a muscular physique. He wears a series of lose purple robes that conceal an armour made of gold. His costume hearkens back to the Egyptian pharaoh called Ramesses the Great.
Movie: Ozymandias looks like an asshole here. The actor playing him is far too skinny. His suit looks nothing like the one in the comic. Rather than a simple gold armour, he wears a suit that seems to be made out of rubber. It also seems rather inflexible. The fact that he can move in that thing is amazing enough.
How accurate: F***balls.

I'm super guilty today man!! I played DotA for almost the whole day, and I didn't realise that Kim wasn't feeling well. I'm so sorry!! Now that you have your MC, you should just stay home and rest for tomorrow. Ask one of your friends to take notes for you.
Yeah, like I said, I played DotA for almost the whole of today. Honestly. First thing I did when I woke up was play DotA. One of the last things I did before sleeping was play DotA. Not too healthy, I know.
