Hello. The topic for today is:
I'm sure you've thought about it before. How our future is going to be like. Every second that passes by brings us closer to it. And people like to imagine how the future is like because it is a big uncertainty. People are afraid of it.
I've been think about how the future will be like for a while now. In my version of the future, the world is an awesome place.
First of all, let's talk about all the negative happenings in the future. We will all have some sort of cancer, because we are all so attached to our mobile phones right now. For my case, it will be testicular cancer, because my phone is in my pocket for most of the day.
Cool, four new cancer causing beasts.However, this is not an entirely bad thing. Sure, a few generations will die from this cancer, but humanity has always had a way of surviving. We will evolve. Due to the intense amounts of radiation we have been exposed to, we get cancer.
But our bodies will eventually learn how to fight off the cancer, but it cannot get rid of the radiation. So evolution takes place. We will all become Dr. Manhattan!! We will all be super smart, and we will soon see the senselessness in wearing clothes. Soon, people every where will walk around naked. Score!!
I'd like you to meet my dad. That's by brother Jim back there, along with my cousin Peter.Also, we can go around reducing each other to particles with a point of our fingers, and it would be fine because the person that got broken apart would just reconstruct himself. But no one would like that happening to them, so we would have to sneak up on the person to do it.
But wouldn't the person hear you coming? No, because we would all also be deaf by then. Thank you noise reducing headphones and music players. So since we're all deaf, we'll need to use another sense to communicate.
High quality sound, noise reduction, and future deafness guaranteed!!While most people would use their sense of sight and communicate through either hand signs or by reading lip movements, I suggest using your sense of touch. It's so much faster, and there won't be any misunderstanding.
For example, when you grab some one else, they know that you are either trying to save them, hug them, or rape them. But when you try using hand signs, there are tons of ways that they can misinterpret you.
Yeah, that's pretty much all the negative stuff I can think of. Of course there's that end of the world shit which is supposed to happen on 12th of February 2012 according to the Aryans. Now time for the good stuff.
Technology is going to be awesome. VTOL [vertical take off and landing] technology will be more commercially available, so we can have our hover cars. Then the Singapore government would have to build a huge ERP gantry which spans from one end of Singapore to the other.
Wonder how much petrol that thing will need to run.Maybe they will even be able to create phones which do not emit radiation, but that would spoil the fun of evolving into Dr. Manhattan. Of course, there will be the new laser and smart weapon technology, as well as camouflage technology.
That way, terrorists can easily sneak into some place, unnoticed, and they can drop a smart bomb. Then they walk out, and activate the bomb a kilometer away using a laser detonator. No more "I kill me", only "I kill you". Of course commandos will use these stuff too.
I wouldn't know whether to feel safe or terrified if some one dressed as the Master Chief was protecting us.We will eventually have virtual reality. Gaming fanatics, movie buffs and porn lovers rejoice!! New levels of interaction. Super realistic graphics and sound quality. It will almost be as if you are really doing those things. Damn, the porn industry is really going to dominate.
You didn't think I'd put a porn related picture here, did you?Food. We can't forget about food. Fusion food is really popular these days. In the future, we're going to get to eat something which contains tastes from a hundred different places in just one spoon. But I want all those ridiculous gold coated food to cease existing.
It's senseless to eat food covered in edible gold dust. First, it doesn't look appalling at all. Second, it doesn't make you look rich, more like ****ing weird. Third, what do you expect to happen when you do such a thing? Shit out a bar of solid gold? Seriously...
In what way does that even look appealing? This ice cream costs over a thousand American dollars by the way.Oh man, I can keep on talking about this, but I think I'm going to stop here because I am lazy, and also because I don't want to bore you. One more thing before I stop talking about this.
In the future, you will be sitting at home playing my game, and I will be at home swimming in a pool of your money. I am going to be Singapore's hope in the video game industry. First Singaporean to actually make a hardcore, mature rated game that is good. I like the sound of that.
I don't think I'll actually do that because it looks kinda uncomfortable.Man, I feel kinda sad right now. Not because I didn't have a nice day or anything. I had an awesome day!! But I'm sad because I can't mention any of the good stuff right here. Since there are eyes all over this blog.
However, I can still mention about everything else. I followed my brother to Funan for the Interschool E Gaming challenge. I met Say Yin there and we just slacked there until my brother was done.
There were people playing Guitar Hero World Tour on stage, and all of them sucked. Failing songs on Easy mode is just wrong. But it was interesting to watch the DotA matches going on there since the people playing were really good.
My brother eventually lost, because his friend was a feeder. My father came to pick us up and he gave Say Yin a lift home. After that we went to my grandmother's house and we played Halo 3 and Rock Band.
Once evening came, awesome things happened. Unfortunately, I cannot talk about it because I will get into trouble for doing so. Still, that won't stop me from being grateful. Thank you for the night, I really enjoyed myself :D It's been a great month. KOAS.
