Hello. The topic for today is:
I only learned about Detroit Metal City when the posters went up at all the cinemas. I knew that it was a comedy that involved metal music, but nothing else. It was only when I read about it in a magazine that I decided to learn more about it.
So I went to watch the trailer on youtube, then I started reading the manga, and I've been DMC crazy ever since. This is the movie trailer:
This is my kind of movie, man! Here's how the story goes. The main character is called Negishi. He's a shy person who would rather avoid trouble than create it. He went to Tokyo five years ago in hopes of creating a pop band after he graduated.
That is what he hoped would have happened. What actually happened is that Negishi ends up as the vocalist and guitarist of a death metal band know as Detroit Metal City. Under the alias of "Krauser II", his performance has been making the band insanely popular in the indie music scene.
Negishi is a total different person when he is Krauser. He is vulgar, violent, and he talks with a deep, rough voice. But it's not a split personality or anything. Negishi is perfectly aware of what he is doing as Krauser, it's just that he is usually too carried away to stop himself.
I was a little confused at first with the NC16 rating, but I understand why after reading the manga. The series is probably one of the most vulgar out there. Which is good, since it is all about the genre of metal.
In the manga, each chapter is a short story that involves Negishi, and a few chapters will be linked for a longer story. There is usually no immediate continuation after chapters, so events can take place at a different time.
Negishi is always in a difficult situation since he has to balance being Krauser and being himself. He doesn't want to be in DMC, and he even hates the music he plays, but DMC's fans are the only he has ever had, and he doesn't want to disappoint them.
However, outside of a DMC concert, he is embarrassed to mention the face that under all the face paint, he is actually Krauser. He is especially careful not to mention it when around the girl who his is in love with, as she hates metal bands, especially DMC.
Although Negeshi often has to be violent and hit people as Krauser, he will not hesitate to apologize to them in private. The only reason why he would hurt people is because their manager orders him to.
Speaking of the manager, she is the most vulgar woman I have ever seen. She uses vulgarities in almost every sentence, she does drugs, and she gauges how good a song is by seeing how close it gets her to having an orgasm.
I'm going to watch the anime soon, since the movie is a live action version of it. Alright, now there's noting more to talk about this. I need to watch the movie. All the people who I sent an sms to, please let me know ASAP if you are free.
Oh yeah, before I forget, you should check out this music video of the movie version of Satsugai. It is an awesome song. Damn, Krauser's voice is sexy. Just check out how he turns a high pitch scream into a low growl.

This week's Naruto was all talk. But a lot was revealed. Naruto has his conversation with the fourth Hokage, who is his father. The Fourth then seals back the fox, and vanishes, and Naruto is back. Some pages:
Naruto is really happy to find out that the Fourth is his father.
But he is angry with his father for sealing the fox within him.
The Fourth warns Naruto of a ninja even stronger than Pain, Madara Uchiha
Naruto freaks out when even the Fourth doesn't know what to do.
But all it takes is one sentence to calm him down.
The Fourth seals back the fox, and disappears.
The fox disappears, and Naruto is standing in its place.
Naruto is back.This week's Bleach showed hollow Ichigo in action. To summarise, he is imba now. Some pages:
Look at him talk to himself even though he is dead.
Ichigo returns, but as a full Hollow.
Nice mask.
Just a flick of his sword create that much of an impact.

He can create a Cero in between his horns.
The Cero made quite an impact.
Ichigo is super fast now, even faster than Ulquiorra as it seems.

I am super happy today!! I got treated to free sushi, and I got to spend time with an awesome person. I got to eat the spicy salmon one, and a lot of octopus, which were all missing the last time we ate sushi. Thanks for the treat, and for the company. KOAS :D
Today, I am back. Back to the gamer I once was. I am finally thinking about games again, and I actually managed to get two new ideas for my future game. I also spent a few hours playing on my Xbox.
I decided to call Xbox customer service because I can no longer stand the noise my current console is making. The guy who answered the phone was from India. I can take my console down to Funan any day after next Wednesday for the exchange.
