Hello. The topic for today is:
So, poly is starting in a month and a half, and everyone is busy preparing for it. This is a new chapter that is dawning upon our lives. For the first time in our lives, we don't have to wear uniforms when going to school. We are allowed to dye our hair. We don't have to bother about rules. Since there hardly are any.
Here is how I'm getting ready for it.
First of all, we need money. Money is important. When we get into poly, we meet new friends. And when we know more people, we tend to go out more often. To go out more, we need more money. I chose not to work since I am too lazy, and also I don't need the extra money.
I just have to spend responsibly for now, and then my father will transfer all my money from the joint account with him into my personal account. And it's not just a little bit of money that's going to be transferred. Five digit spending power, people.
Next, we need new clothes. When you are wearing your own clothes to school five days a week, you need to have a larger variety of clothes. Sure, what you are on the inside is the ultimate judgmental factor, but how you look like on the outside does help with making a good first impression.
I have yet to go shopping for clothes, but I'll probably be going within the next few days. My father set aside $400 for me to buy everything I need. He asked me to get five tops and five bottoms, but I plan to get a bag, a jacket, and a pair of sport shoes as well if that is possible.
Thirdly, we must have a better self image. Like I said, how you look on the outside is important as well. Since I've already lost weight from my short term vegetarian diet, I've decided to work out more. I want more [BIGGER!!] arm muscles and back muscles.
Also, I want more obvious stomach muscles. I will get six first, then I will go on to achieve my ultimate target of eight. I need to go to the gym more often!!
Since your face is a large part of how you look on the outside, I am also starting to care more for my face. I must remember to shave every morning, and I must wash my face three times a day. Also, I must remember to apply pimple cream every night in order to get rid of them.
And since we're on the topic of positive self image, I need to get something done to my hair as well. I have no idea why, but I have the misfortune of having premature greying. Both my parents don't have it, but both me and my brother do. ****.
Anyways, I'm going to get my hair cut short again, then I'm going to colour it black. I could colour it brown or something, but I'm not going to do that because 1) Brown will fade of to black sooner or later, whereas black will have to fade to brown first, before becoming your natural black, and 2) My face is already brown and I don't want to become a chocolate man.
Then, we have to get ourselves back into the studying mood. Honestly, I have not done a single thing that can even be considered as studying ever since the end of the O level. That's nearly half a year now, in case you didn't know. It's a miracle that I have not forgotten how to write.We got to work hard in poly because we cannot screw up. If you **** up JC, you can still drop to poly, but screw poly, and that's it. It would also be great if I can get into a local university, because it would cost a lot to go overseas. Like my poly lecturer said to me and my parents, "in poly, you have to chiong from the start."
Finally, we need to get used to going to school again. Being on a half year long holiday does things to you. Your sleeping habits change. You become lazy as hell. Your attention span shortens. You start spending way too much money.
When poly starts, these things need to change. Sleeping at 4am when there's school the next day isn't such a good idea. I will have to take a train again. No more cabs because I need to budget. Need to learn all over again how to pay attention, if not I'm not going to absorb anything during lectures. Also, need to save money, tens of games coming out this year, and many new girls to spend on.
Anyways, I'm really looking forward to the start of my poly life. TPSU orientation camp is on the 6th to 8th of April, then there is the actual orientation on the 16th and 17th of April, and school starts on 20th. Can't wait. New friends, new life, and the chance to see Jocelyn!! Epic win.

Didn't do much today. Went to the NTUC to get some stuff in the morning, and I went to some wake in the afternoon. This time it was my grand uncle who bit the dust. He's only 55 years old this year, but he died from liver failure caused by lead poisoning, which was caused by some traditional Chinese medicine, which was obviously imported from China.
So, if you think you're safe eating medicine from the traditional doctor, think again. I suspect that my grand uncle was a former spy working for the British during WWII, and now the Japanese have struck back and poisoned him, but they want to frame their old enemy China. It was a political killing!! Ok, reading too much Watchmen. I'll stop now.
Something funny did happen just now. I didn't shave this morning because Kim said that a little bit of beard is alright. She tells me that the rough feeling makes my face feel sexy :D Anyways, one of my grand aunties was there.
She hasn't seen me for years now, so I think she still sees me as a little kid. She walks up to me, and she strokes my chin. Since I didn't shave, of course she felt all the stubs under my chin. And she almost jumped back in shock. I almost FOTCL.
I was just at home for the rest of the day. I was mostly using the computer, but I played a bit of Street Fighter IV as well. I love the music in the game man. Pure awesomeness.

I actually managed to pull of some Ultra combos today. Super high now. But this new Xbox that I have, the fifth one, is ****ing noisy. It is like, 5x nosier than any of my previous ones. There's the usual hum of the cooling fan in the console, but there's this loud, grinding noise on top of it.
Going to call Microsoft again soon. Damn, what the **** is wrong with them. Can't they just give me a problem free replacement console? Is that too hard to ask for. And to think that I've been supporting them all these years. Man, at least give me an Xbox 360 Elite next time, you bastards :D
