Hello. The topic for today is:

Today is April's Fools. Since I'm a nice person, I did not trick anyone. And also because I'm a nice person, everyone loves me, so no one tried to trick me either.
Still, I'm sure a lot of you *evil!!* people have been tricking others. Before doing that, you should at least know why the hell do you have to trick others on this day.
The first thing Wikipedia says about the origins of April's Fools is this: "The origin of April Fools' Day is obscure." Nice. So no one actually knows how it came about, but we all still make use of the day as an excuse to be an asshole.
Oh, they also mentioned that in many countries, the person carrying out the prank is the "fool", not the one getting tricked. "Daaamn! Ya hear that, home boy? Y'all fools for pullin such shit, ya dig?"
Anyways, Wiki proceeds to say that April 1st was considered the first day of the year in ancient France. So even after that day was changed to the 1st of January, people continued to celebrate on the 1st of April.
Celebrate by playing pranks on others? It's quite a bullshit story to me, but let's just stick with it. So now you know how the day supposedly originated. So you can go ahead and play your prank. But the prank of one person isn't really that big a deal.
However, when big companies decided to pull such pranks, everyone is going to notice. Here are some large scale pranks that have been pulled off in the past.
Spaghetti Trees: This one truly proves the stupidity of our previous generations. BBC decides to run a hoax on TV. Swiss farmers are seen harvesting spaghetti from trees. Thousands called BBC to find out how they could grow their own spaghetti trees.

Left Handed Whopper: Another prank that made people look stupid. Burger King put an ad in a newspaper to introduce their latest creation, the left handed Whopper. It was was made in such a way that the condiments would only drip out of the right side of the burger. Not only did people order the left handed whopper, some even requested for the "old" right handed whopper.

Smell-o-Vision: Yet another prank to reveal the dumbness of humans. A TV station announced that it was trying out a new technology that would use the waves produced by the TV set to enable viewers to smell whatever was appearing on the TV. Thousands called in to notify the station of its success.

These days, large scale April Fool's jokes are still carried out, but they are less common. Still, the video game industry is always more than happy to carry out large scale pranks.
This year, a game studio worked together with a game story company. It announced that its game had been leaked, and it was being sold by several stores a few months early. This resulted in long lines forming outside the outlets, waiting for the midnight launch to take place.
IGN.com also does their annual April's Fool joke, where they make a fake game video and upload it onto their website. The videos are surprisingly good, so you can be forgiven if you fall for those. Nothing else to say, so just watch this year's video and be happy:
=================================================================================
Since my brother is at camp today, and there is no one to hog the Internet connection, I was able to stay on Xbox Live for almost the whole of today. I just sat there and played a lot of Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band.
I went out to play more Guitar Hero World Tour. Someone asked me a really good question. Why my blog hardly has any stuff about my thoughts about the happenings in my life.
After all, a blog is supposed to be like a diary, where you get to say whatever you want to. Well, take a look at the definition of the word diary. "
A book for use in keeping a personal record, as of experiences." Personal.
That is why I feel that a blog fails to be a diary the minute someone else reads it. So I used my blog as a space to express my thoughts about things that are not that closely associated with my personal life.
Just look at all the famous bloggers. Do any of them actually blog about their personal lives? Maybe a little, but most of their posts are about their views on current events. I'm not that good at writing yet, but I will start doing those some day.
I already mentioned before that I keep my personal things to myself. Only people who are really close to me will know about them. I just thought that I'd mention this in case anyone else was wondering.
What's more, I might accidentally mention some other things that would reveal this whole other side to my personality that only one other person has seen before.
On the bright side, I had more fruit after Guitar Hero World Tour!! Woot!! The fruit is awesome!! I got a treat as well. Man, I love it when this happens. I am getting addicted to it!!
Ok, I'm done for today. Thanks for reading. [KOAS KW!!] Ending off, see you tomorrow.
