Hello. The topic for today is:
I am super psyched to see this. To a Marvel fanboy, the fact that the Avengers is going to have their own movie is beyond sex. Still, the May 4th 2012 release date is a few years away. Also, if the Aryans were right, we would all meet our doom a few months before that date.
However, I can't help but be excited about it. A Marvel movie featuring one hero is enough to get me happy, so you can imagine what a movie featuring a bunch of them can do to me. Sure, you can say that the X-Men movies were all like that, but it's different.
In the X-Men trilogy, the characters featured were typical heroes. Alright, Wolverine is a total badass, and Nightcrawler and Colossus weren't too bad either. But it's the Avengers we're talking about here. The super team consisting of Marvel Legends.
Speaking of Marvel Legends, I'm really looking forward to the Thor and Captain America films too. It will be interesting to see how Asgard, Loki and Odin are portrayed in the film, and as for the Captain America film, you don't need any reason to be excited for it. It is Captain America.
Anyways, little information has been released about the Avengers movie, but what is available is still quite interesting. It will be released in 2012, a year after the Thor and Captain America movies.
Iron Man director, John Favreau, is the executive producer of the movie. The film will be about the Ultimates version of the Avengers, which is what I guessed the moment I saw Nick Fury being portrayed as Black instead of White at the end of the Iron Man movie.
So far, the roster of characters are Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow and the Incredible Hulk. War Machine to make an appearance in the movie as well. Hawkeye, Wasp and Giant Man are also expected to be in the movie, but their roles have not been confirmed.
So far, the confirmed cast are: Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.
It's going to be interesting to see how different Marvel Heroes appear on the big screen at the same time. However, it is not the first time that cross overs have happened. We all know that Tony Stark appears at the end of The Incredible Hulk.
But there are other cross overs that require you to watch the movie a few times to notice. In Iron Man, the scene where Pepper Potts finds Tony in the Iron Man armour as it is being removed, look closely at the bottom left corner. Captain America's shield!!
The Incredible Hulk actually has cameos of Iron Man, Captain America and Thor, but Iron Man is the only obvious one. In the scene where Hulk and Betty are in the cave, and lightning strikes, causing the Hulk to get shocked.
Hulk gets pissed, so he throws a boulder at the sky and bellows. If you watch in slow mo, as the camera rotates around Hulk, and if you watch the top right corner of the screen, there is a small glowing white figure falling from the sky, too fast for you to catch if the movie wasn't in slow mo.
Thor, no doubt.
And in the alternate opening to The Incredible Hulk, which is only available on DVD, Bruce Banner goes to the Arctic region to commit suicide. Instead, he turns into the Hulk and smashes a glacier. A silhouette of a human being can be seen within the glacier, along with a familiar looking circular shield. Captain America!!
Well, there's really nothing more to say about the movie, and we will all just have to wait patiently until something new is released. I'm guessing that there will at least be a teaser by the end of this year.
Damn, May 4th 2012 cannot come sooner.

This week's Naruto was cool. It's the final showdown between Naruto and Pain, and through his clever plan, Naruto is able to land a Rasengan on pain, which means he used Jiraiya's technique to defeat pain. It's a revenge thing. Some pages:

Naruto attempts to hold Pain down with two shadow clones, but Pain quickly counters them.
He dodges the Rasen Shuriken.
Naruto's attack destroys most of the surrounding.
The rubble starts to change.
Into tajuu kage bushin
Pain's attack can be used again, just in time.
He uses his attack, sending the clones and Naruto flying.
Naruto uses the clones to brace himself.
Pain isn't able to use his attack for the next 5 seconds, which is all Naruto needs.
Naruto defeats Pain with the move Jiraiya thought him.This weeks Bleach just showed Ichigo destroying a whole lot more stuff. Also, Yammi appears to fight Rukia. And I'm not too sure about this, but it seems that Ulquiorra, who still isn't dead, obviously, is trying to save Orihime. Or he could still just be trying to kill Ichigo. Some pages:

I went to AMK Hub to eat Pepper Lunch with Andrew. Damn it, I have been longing for Pepper Lunch for so long. Once we were almost done, Andrew's CCA juniors came and sat at the table beside us. When we left, Andrew told them to "enjoy their cocks" on Monday, with is really quite true.
After that we went to meet Vanessa and I bought for my father his present. The money in my bank account is now almost halved, so I'm desperately waiting for poly to start, so that I can start getting my allowance soon. Also, I'm going to get a lot of ang bao for my birthday.
We walked to the Popular area and slacked there some more, then I left so that they can be romantic by themselves. I went to Peninsular to look for slippers. No luck finding any. I always have a problem when it comes to footwear. In Singapore, there is hardly anything that comes in size 14.
I went to eat dinner, then I slacked for a while, and then I went back home. No fruit today, unfortunately, because of a certain reason, but I still got my treat, so thank you!! :D Now I am damn worn out. lol.
Once I got home I played a lot of music games. I need to practice for next Saturday!! I just realised that while I'm always playing the guitar parts of the various songs, I often forget that there are parts for drums and vocals as well. I'm going to try those parts soon.
