Whoa man, I finally ended a day of this current holiday with a sense of achievement!! Not only did I manage to NOT spend a single cent, I actually managed to earn $10!! And that's just the beginning. Today is like, my Day of Luck.

The day started normal enough. I went out with my mother for a while, then I just slacked about when I got back home. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I really feel that I'm wasting my entire holidays away.

I mean, it's nice not having to go to school, but then my idea of having a fun, fruitful holiday doesn't exactly just involve plain slacking and not doing anything useful at all.

And then I decided. Enough of slacking. Enough of that empty feeling I'm getting at the end of each passing day!!

So I took out an empty photo album from a cabinet in my house, and I started sorting old photos into it, according to the themes of the photos. It took my close to two hours, but it was worth it to see the final product. Empty album to an album filled with 200 hundred photos.

For those of you wondering, I am not randomly sorting photos; my dad actually offered to pay me for sorting the photos. You see, there are probably close to 3000 photos not housed in albums. All these are lying around in some cabinet in my house.

So for each album I fill, my dad is going to pay me $10. Since I didn't get accepted for my dad's workplace job, I don't mind getting some extra cash while helping around the house.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not doing it completely for the money. It's like a 50-50 thing. Half for the money, half since it's something worth doing.

While I was sorting the photos, I came across many of my childhood photos, of places I had been to on holiday, and also random photos which portrayed my childhood mischief. My childhood photos weren't the only ones.

I actually managed to find my parents photos of the times when they were dating, when they got married, on their honeymoon, and even when my mom was expecting me.

Believe it or not, my parents were actually young once upon a time. My dad used to have shoulder length hair, and my mom used to wear what passed off as FBT shorts at that period of time. It's scary to imagine them with those now though.

After I was done with the albums, I decided to play some Xbox. I am super close to completing Batman: Arkham Asylum at 100%, meaning I've almost found every single secret, and completed most of the bonus challenges in the game.

Due to my luck, and also because of some stuffs I read on the Internet, I was able to find about another 80 secrets, boosting my achievement score by 60 points. Now all that's left to do is to find the remaining 36 secrets, and complete the bonus challenges.

Then I got a phone call from Yiling in the evening. She apologized to me. For hanging up on me. Because I was the one who kept pestering her on the phone. Ahh well ok fine, I'm sorry too. What's that like the fourth time I'm saying it. lol.

So yeah, as you can see the day was a good and lucky one for me. Hopefully tomorrow will be even better!!

P.S. Yes I know this is a damn random, senseless and lame post. But I'm feeling lazy today so live with it.
