Hello there. Today's Saturday, my favourite day of the week!! I woke up at 9 am and I went to my grandmother's house. I had my breakfast there, then I came back home. I studied for 2hrs until 1pm, then I studied Geography from 1pm-3pm. After that I played Xbox for one hour.
Mercenaries 2 is quickly becoming one of my favourite games. Despite the so-so ratings of this game, I find it really good actually. Made a video of a small explosion from the game. Here it is:
Yes, that is only a small explosion. Anyways, a new trailer for a Mercs 2 update was released today, as well as the Spider-Man: Web of Shadows launch trailer. Screenshots below. Click to maximize.
Hope it's free.
6 new mercenaries.I know the first 5 [I even photoshopped their names in], but I dunno the last guy.
Chicken suit ftw.
Black Cat. How come her hair [supposed to be a wig] becomes a symbiote too?
Wolverine plus a symbiote=big load angry.
Vulture taken over by a symbiote.
Symbiote Electro. I think he looks the coolest.
Spider-Man emo-ing.
Venom is the mastermind behind the entire invasion.
Some times we have to embrace our inner darkness to unleash our full potential.
Beserker rage!!
Oh boy.
Oddly calm.
Ok, I know he looks like he's alone against that beast, but I the game all the superhumans you help will help you fight against it. I was listening to Slipknot's Vermillion just now. It's an awesome song man. Vermillion has a nice tune to it, and for those who like their music softer, there's Vermillion Part 2, which is the acoustic version of Vermillion. Lyrics:
Vermillion
She seems dressed in all the rings
Of past fatalities
So fragile yet so devious
She continues to see it
Climatic hands that press
Her temples and my chest
Enter the night that she came home
Forever
Oh (She's the only one that makes me sad)
She is everything and more
The solemn hypnotic
My Dahlia bathed in possession
She is home to me
I get nervous, perverse, when
I see her it's worse
But the stress is astounding
It's now or never she's coming home
Forever
Oh (She's the only one that makes me sad)
Hard to say what caught my attention
Fixed And crazy, Aphid Attraction
Carve my name in my face, to recognize
Such a pheromone cult to terrorize
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
(Yeah!) I'm a slave, and I am a master
No restraints and, unchecked collectors
I exist through my need, to self oblige
She is something in me, that I despise
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
SHE ISN'T REAL!
I CAN'T MAKE HER REAL!
SHE ISN'T REAL!
I CAN'T MAKE HER REAL!
(She isn't real, I can't make her real)
(She isn't real, I can't make her real)
I didn't go to tuition today, and I didn't go and eat dinner with Friend.
Since I had all the extra time, I did some research. About Slipknot's 9-pointed star symbol. Whether it is really satanic.
Slipknot's Symbol-Satanic?
First of all, a 9 pointed star is called a nonagram. The only star known to be related with Satan is the pentagram, a 5 pointed star. That's pretty much enough to conclude that the symbol isn't satanic, but it's alright, let's keep going.
Secondly, while people claim that symbol to be satanic, it is in fact, a religious symbol. It is a symbol from
Bahá'í faith. Direct quote:
"A simple nine-pointed star is generally used by Bahá'ís as a symbol of their Faith. The number nine has significance in the Bahá'í Revelation. Nine years after the announcement of the Báb in Shiraz, Bahá'u'lláh received the intimation of His mission in the dungeon in Teheran. Nine, as the highest single-digit number, symbolizes completeness. Since the Bahá'í Faith claims to be the fulfillment of the expectations of all prior religions, this symbol, as used for example in nine-sided Bahá'í temples, reflects that sense of fulfillment and completeness."Ok I just found a forum full of religious nuts debating about that symbol, but let's ignore that.
It is stated on the Slipknot website that the symbol was created by placing two circles on top of a nonagram, and it was created by Slipknot. So there you have it, while Slipknot themselves may be [a little] satanic, the symbol that is on my hoodie is not related with Satan at all.
There, I did all that for the sake of people around me. Those worried that they might get affected when they are standing near me while I have that hoodie on. Personally, I don't even care if it's satanic or not.
Ok, now that I've cleared things up. I used to be confused about the meaning of the symbol, but now that I know, that's one less thing for me to wonder about. Now for me to work on sloving my big problem. Ok, ending off, see you tomorrow.
